Hello Decorrnations!
First of all I would like to greet all of you a happy new year!
I started the year by making another DIY project. In this video I made a miniature gnome using an empty plastic juice bottle and an air dry clay. I added crumpled foil and glued it on the head part so I can form a hat shape, the foil also helps to fill in the space inside the hat to make it more sturdy and prevent it from collapsing. After the figure is formed, I let it dry for twenty four hours then applied some colors to it. I also coated it with clear gloss to prevent the paint from chipping out and make look shiny. I hope you all like my miniature gnome!

I'm speaking to you from 2023, I don't even know if you still check your comments, but I have to say, coming from a guy who sculpts as well my main medium is super Sculpey and I love making gnomes, I have to tell you, this is the most beautiful gnome I have seen, in your technique for the beard, to be honest with you made me a little angry, because I yelled out why didn't I think of that, LOL😅, for some reason my Noms and I use the same kind of style hat over eyes, all mine always look like Wizards, but I'm going to say it one more time this is absolutely beautiful I am amazed by your artistry, keep up the great work from one play artist to another, I take my hat off to you

They aren't juice bottles, they are water bottles. You can pick them up from your local grocery store.

That most certainly depends on where you live - I have never seen this shape either. And she did say that it is an apple juice bottle, not water...;-)
