Good Morning Patti What a beautiful plate. I love it. I think I will pick up some inexpensive plates and do this for the holidays when I bring my neighbors goodies. Such a great idea to use the plate that way. Great video Patti love deezie
Very beautiful Patti...I enjoy using your tissue papers.I have made a couple of projects with them and they looked great! Thanks for sharing this idea with us. 😊🙋❤️🌺
I really love the old world charm of this plate. I have to have one. I'm in South Africa, so I doubt it's viable to buy your papers. I'm going to start searching for something similar. Thank you for being such an inspiration.
Love, love, love your creativity on this beautiful plate. I found your video 2 years ago and watched over and over. Bought most of the supplies and then froze. So now that I have my courage up, I'm going to attempt to replicate. Question: 1. where did you find a square, clear plate? 2. Is the tissue paper you used just like plain white Christmas wrapping tissue paper? 3. When viewing, I can't tell if plate is up or down. You decoupage the paper to the back side of the plate, flower side up to the front side of the plate, right? But then it looks like you're decopaging again. Is it to the back side of the plate to the back side of the rose? Thx so much. Also, what size is the plate - dinner, lunch or desert size plate? I found sq plates on Amazon but I'd have to buy set of 12. Way too expensive.
amzn.to/3GDqq4S I get most of my supplies from Amazon so you can get them here at this link and sometimes, once in a blue moon I will luck out at Goodwill. ;) Thank you for the high praise. The tissue paper is that same paper that you use in gift bags and I am decoupaging on the back, so the image is facing forward, I decoupaged the main image down first, and when it dried, I decoupaged again, facing forward. This is a larger plate, dinner size I believe. ;)
@@patioelf Thank you so much for that information. Can't wait to get started. I found my sq dinner plates. Duh, I bought 2 last year and immediately misplaced them. When putting away Xmas deco, I found them. Yea! Luckily they were sold individually because this year you have to buy an entire set of 12 for $94.
Hi Patti, I absolutely loved the plate and the rose. I've gone to your site and for some reason I cannot find the tissue paper with the rose and the carnations, which I believe is what you said you used, I find a rose with other small roses but I don't think it's quite the same Rose that you used on the plate could you please send me a link to the page for the tissue paper that you used on the plate thank you so much I love your work.
I love it! I am going to decoupage a large picture frame. Of course I removed the picture so plenty of glass to have fun with. I would like your opinion, can I use a pale yellow chalk paint, instead of the white? then use the metallic gold with the pouncer? Thank you for a great video!
Truly beautiful as always , I love ❤️ your work but I am a little bit confused 🤷♀️ I tend to make all my projects durable and waterproof , I noticed that you are a baking ( fast oven cure) some of your projects but you did not bake this one, may I know the difference please because I am very confused 😂 Thank you 😊
This is stunning! I am brand new to decoupage - I've always wanted to learn but am just now getting into it. Do you have to use the metallic paint? I loved the way it looked with just the chalk paint in the back. Do you always use Triple Thick as a top coat? Can I paint it on instead of using the spray? Thank you so much!
I have an old set of plates like that and am interested in purchasing your papers . Yet for the project I have in mind I would like to use custom papers . Is it possible you could create those ? Also have you ever stacked the plates to create a tiered desert plates
Patti everything you make is just stunning I would like to know which Mod Podge do you use with Napkins I can not seem to find any one that says for napkins Help please
Your comment is the only one I've seen that asked the same question I had. How did that writing design get on over the rose since the rose was the first thing to be glued down. I don't see an answer anywhere. The only thing I could figure out is that the writing tissue went on first and then the rose. Also, what color of ink was used on the stamps and around the edges? Possible a shade of brown? Or was it black? What did you use?
