I’m confused. Shouldn’t the cork board be soaked in water prior? When/how does the plant actually attach itself to the cork board if there is a thick layer of moss throughout?
Hi! No, it doesn’t need to be soaked first. I’m not sure how long it takes for roots to attach as they are hidden in the moss and can’t be seen. I’m not sure they ever really attach and that is why you use the twine to secure everything in place, although it makes sense that they would eventually . It’s been several weeks since I made these and they are doing great with beautiful new growth.
