You put the contact paper down first. You can always remove it, and it’s like sticking the tiles to the floor.

Contact paper is easy to pull up and if its a little stubborn you can use a hair dryer and it will come right off. I wasn’t sure about these tiles so I felt better putting down contact paper first since I rent.

So the contact paper is in case the tiles glue doesn't ruin the base floor, good idea!

I was wondering this too. I have some of these I think I am going to take my toilet out

Have had mine for 4 yrs in the bathroom and treat them like regular floors and haven’t lifted, shift, or anything
