A few things missing to make it easier and last longer. A vinyl plank cutter and a roller to make sure the floor is adhered properly to the old floor to prevent pealing. Cute pups!
I always planned on doing something similar but have put it off because I was a little scared of the process. But watching this gave me a little confidence and will do it. Starting on the foyer to gain experience and confidence before doing bigger rooms 😅. Thank you
@RoseRenovations actually the one I bought before this one many years ago stopped spinning and I had to throw it out. I made it spin too fast. Easy does it. Don't push the pedal too hard.
Why don't these RU-vidrs remove the 3/4 round or baseboard prior to laying their peel and stick tiles, It would make it look both much more clean and professional installation.
Because we’re planning on ripping out all of the tiling in the future so this is just a temporary solution. Ripping out baseboards and jumping through additional hoops costs more money and isn’t worth the time at the moment 🤷🏼♀️
I think that is less likely because the new planks are being laid in a different direction than the grout. If it was parallel, that would be problematic.
