Thanks, I have tried to think out what needed improvement after changing the use of the drawers and hope I’ve got it covered now. The aluminium I had on the original setup did a good job of protecting the top edge so I chose to add it to the drawers. I think it looks much better and as you say is functional too.

Nice job. Can you explain how you attached the slides in the middle where they are back to back? Did you use longer bolts and sandwich the slides together either side of the ply? Thanks.
Thanks, I drilled a second set of holes on one of the slides to give alternative mounting points. Then used large screws to fix them in place. I tried the bolts going through but there is very little clearance for the slide to pass so they were catching on the one side. The screws are the largest I could use and not have clearance issues with the slide. I also used a number of them to ensure a good strong fixing. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍🏻.
