Mei-Mei Martin I have an amazing painted jacket that my friend made me and I get it dry cleaned when it’s 100% needed

Mei-Mei Martin heat setting the it should be helpful in keeping the paint from coming off. Especially since she used fabric paints vs acrylic paints.

Mei-Mei Martin if you are using acrylic paint, you can use textile medium to make the paint more elastic

Make sure to hand wash and not use a washing machine or tumble drier :)

I used Dala fabric paints - they are a South African brand! :)

Chucho Bermudez you can use acrylic paint for it

You could pretty much use whatever you want or have! But I think a fabric that isn't stretchy would work the best and be the most durable. :)

I mean, yes. But my indomitable fear of commitment means that I prefer having something that can be removed at any time just by unpicking it, rather than messing up the jacket if I did it wrongly. Also, since this video, I am pretty sure he's removed it and sewn it onto a different jacket that he preferred. So if you want to paint it straight onto your jacket, that's your call. :)
