I’ve tried several of your tutorials and they have all turned out so well! I’ve learned so much about making clothes based on my measurements and how to create a pattern that fits me best. Thank you for your amazing tutorials!
❤️❤️ Jess!! this is the easiest I have ever seen someone sew shorts !! Thank you for this tutorial, I am a very new beginner at sewing and your videos help me a lot ❤️❤️
Jess! I recently bought a sewing machine and have been trying to make a pair of pajama shorts for a while. Your explanation was so simple! And also I appreciate you don't use a ton of random tools that always overwhelms me when I see them pull out like 5 different rulers lol ❤️
Oh Jess this is so cute and simple. This tutorial could also double as pattern making, so we can make multiple pieces with ease. Thanks for sharing Also keep the sleep wear items coming, I'm really enjoying it.
Hi Jess ,I’ve made this set and they are perfect for lounge wear,I’ve also made the jump suit, the fabric you use is really great, thanks so much for the tutorials, from Cape Town South Africa 🇿🇦
Hi Tanya. I’m also from Durban South Africa. Please can you explain the calculations for the shorts measurements. I’m a beginner and I would so appreciate your help. Thank you🤗
Hi Jess…thank you for your lovely videos…to the point👍😘 Please can you or anyone reading this, suggest a simpler way to calculate bust, waist and hip measurements. I really don’t get the 1/10th and 3/10 th… please. Thank you🤗
Hello first of all i would like to thank you for sharing with us your beautifull work 🙏🏻 I’m a beginner can you tell me how can I calculate the mesurement off the elastic band please? Thank you for all 🥰🥰
I have now one more idea for a Christmas gift ! I will try to sew this pyjama (pure beginner that I am ahaha) and will embroider something on the short and t-shirt, to “personalize” it (that’s the part where I know how to do it :) ) ! Thank you! Will make an update if it is interesting some of you! PS : Jess and her community are so loving and kind people !
Hi, thanks for the tutorial. please teach me where the number 22cm for the sleeves comes from. Is that the size of the armpit circumference divided by 2?
Hi jess!💙 you are the best! I don’t know anything about sewing, but I have literally seen all of your video! Your video inspires me a lot, you are the only youtuber I found, who make aesthetic dresses in most non revealing way,and perfect to wear in my country! 💜💜💜Thank youuuu jess❤️❤️ Jess,I want to start sewing, but I don’t have chance to learn physically,so,I have to start learning virtually, can you suggest me from which video should I start, which is super super beginner friendly?
Thank you for loving my video! For a beginner, I suggest you to try with some simple and easy projects first. You can try out the sleepwear dress I share before this one.
I LOVE THIS MATCHING SET!!!! I wanted to make the shorts but I couldn't understand the hip measurement part what do you mean by 1/10 hip size and 1/20 hip size? like how do I get those measurements?
You measure your hip size first. It's the biggest part of you butt. Usually around the middle of your butt. Take the measurement tape goes around your butt, from the front to the back
Made it! Thanks a lot Beautiful, but I had to change something in shorts tutorial because my size is bigger and in such explanations something got wrong, but everything is ok after changing Want to do another one for my boyfriend
hi jess, thank you for this amazing pattern! I just have one question, can I make the pants longer by just measuring the length from the belly button to my ankles and follow the rest of the instructions? or that won't work?
Lovely set Jess! I just have one question. What did you do with the shorts after going 2 cm down the front and connecting to the back to adjust the waistline? To be more specific, on minute 2:20 you start drawing a new vertical line (both in the front and in the back) but you don't say how many cm to move it or why. It's the only measurement I don't understand. Thank you for your amazing tutorials!! 🧵🪡
I’m not her but if I may share my understanding ; she creates the new vertical lines by making sure the ruler is squared with/ perpendicular to the new slanted horizontal line, so there is no measurement for that part, it’s just adjusted based on squaring off of a new line. You can use an L shaped ruler or simply butt the edge of ruler up to the slanted line. hope that made sense!!
Hi Jess. I like the pyjama short and shirt very much. Actually I have a question about the width of the shorts fabric. What should be the recommended width of the fabric? Hip size+..cm?
This is the easiest shorts everrrrr!!! Thank you so much. I just made mine. So simple. And it turned out great! Are you on Instagram, I’d like to follow you…
Pajamas? Sis, if I just make the shorts longer I'd wear that outside😂 (I'm getting ready for a trip and now, one year later I'm here to follow through with making these😄)
Omg i love your tutorials, but everytime i try to follow the instructions it becomes a large or x large and i am a medium. I have now sewn a shorts which is triple my size. I measured from hip on my largest point (my buttocks). Is anyone else having same problem? :(
