This DIY panel skirt is a simple skirt and easy tutorial, because if you follow the instructions, you'll end up with a simple fitted skirt. It can be any length you like, and made from as many panels as you like, but the concept is simple, and you need just 3 measurements:
1/ Your waist circumference
2/ Your hip circumference
3/ Skirt length
In this tutorial I'm sharing the process of creating the sewing pattern (super simple one panel method, I did mine on the computer, but pen and paper works just as well!), fitting the skirt and finally the construction process.
It's probably too late to make it as a gift today, but it's a video I wanted to share for a while now, and as I wanted to make this skirt to wear on Christmas day, I figured I'd share it with you!
