Yes! Try the paper pockets. I'm finishing up a journal and I made multiple pockets. Really like how they turned out.

Well this is definitely for me cause it's really a cute tuck spot for a journal and I have that paper pad. I didn't really know what to do with it because it was thin paper. But you are right, thinner paper isn't so bulky. I'm glad I stumbled across your video. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice. I'm a big fan of the thinner paper pads as a journal filler. When I fold paper for pockets I feel like I'm back in school folding notes to pass. LOL.

I'm going to use this technique right away! I just started my very first Junk journal, and I'm about halfway into my first signature. I think it's going well so far, but there's always room for improvement! I was thinking, how about adding a brad to that top corner? 🙂

I think a brad would work. The best part, try the brad if you don't like remove and cover over with a different embellishment.There is no wrong way. Congrats on your first junk journal!!

When I fold the paper it reminds me of high school. Folding notes and passing them around. Ha, a skill I can use later in life. LOL.

The journal is the video I gave to my sister for her birthday. She still uses it! You should see it, she has used it so much there is duct tape holding it together! Love it, look well loved :)
