Welcome to xpdiy.io, this is the channel about DIY projects, currently working on converting 3D printer to affortable desktop pick and place machine with simple steps.
I used the pick and place machine to place the components, reflow and then test out, and it is running as it should, now I can save sometime and use the machine to help me making the board!

I use that same sticky stuff ("BluTac") all the time when I'm soldering: to hold PCBs or larger through-hole components. Very easy and can be reused over and over

mann this is AMAZING, like, we can find pnp machine around, but, you made your 3d printer, a ender machine, into something that can either be a pnp or a 3d printer just buy addin a module, this is amazing, do you have plans on releasing it on github or something?

Thanks for the comment Nickolas, this is indeed an affortable way for my hobby, currently I am improving it and making it easier to use. I am also considering how to release it so that people can try it if interesting, stay tuned!

Yes, I am currently making adjustment on the design to make it more robust for 0201 components. I will post it when I have tested my next batch of PCB

As the plate is moving and all the components and pcb is moving instead of the head, did you notice any challenge like already placed component jumped and went off the correct location?

Actually I was worried about that before but then when I put everything in place, this doesn't happen, the solder paste is actually make it stay in the position, and we can also lower down the acceleration if that is the issue for bigger component, but so far I never observe this.
