I do agree that the ones with the writing on the back are a little more special. I just want to say that I love the sound of them clicking and clacking against each other because of the chipboard, it’s one of the reasons why I love working with packaging (and why I hoard them). I've always loved finding smaller designs within images. Turning them into postcards is a wonderful idea. Another type of image I have enjoyed cutting up lately are adult coloring books. The drawings are intricate and it is not too hard to find used ones from this previous hot fad.

I Love that little template! It’s a great tool for seeing what I would have missed! And you can use it to draw the lines of your postcard.

oh wow, what a great idea! Even to actually use a 4x6 size to actually pop in the mail to a grandchild, family member or friend, something geared to their interest or make them smile.

The image with air bubbles is still usable. Just take a needle or pin and pop the air bubble.

The unwanted bubbles under glued-to-cardboard magazine images were my only reason I stopped collecting. I underestimated the plastic card technique everybody was showing big time. But only your video made it super-clear how important the step is. I loved the cute posting stamps so much that I did went to the amazon this time and did buy a die cutter in the shape of posting stamps and the die cutting machine for that matter as well. 😊 Did not plan for this at all today but that is the aftermath of you powerful presentations. 😊

When you have something g that you glued and left too long - run it Thru the laminator with heat. It will reactivate the glue and most times it’s going to smooth out most of the bubbles. Sometimes you might get a tiny wrinkle. Try it and see if it works for you.

I’ve been thinking about this type of project for some time now. I have garden and cross stitch magazines and I have that really cool cardboard with the vintage/mottled brown pattern on it (just like the one you showed here) that I immediately saved and thought....this would be a great backing for a journal card! I also subscribe to “Philatelic” magazine, thinking I can use the images of the stamps in there! I also have acrylic & rubber stamps with the canceled postage or lined postcard (and the words “post card”) to use for the back side. Stampers Anonymous has a few great stamp sets for this! Thanks again for getting my popcorn brain started again! You always inspire!! TYFS ❤️🦋💜

That is such a great idea. I love postcards and this is something I am so going to try.

A lot of times you can take a straight pin or a very small needle and just pop those bubbles in the paper. Run your card back over them and they should smooth down just fine. Love this idea!
