I love all your ideas! As I live in europe we do not have this plastic coated freezer paper, so when my husband went to the US I asked him to bring it as my souvenir 😂

I cut hexagons out of my magazines to do my patchwork. It is called English paper piecing and I do all sewing by hand. Newspaper I use to make paper pots into which I sow seeds in Spring and I can plant pot and seedling in the garden with no mess and no waste. I am Vera a new subscriber from Northern Ireland ❤ Yes my new friend, I will definitely try to make all of these lovely things using only my scissors and magazines! Thank you

Old magazines are true treasures!!! Definitely hesitate and research their dollar value before cutting them up, and see if you can make COPIES of pages you want to cut out.

Thank you, Maxine! So glad you liked these ideas! But please don't let the lack of the recipients to stop your creativity! It's always good to have a few cards and envelopes on hand - you never know when you'll need one! Pro tip: you can always pre-make your cards the way I showed, but don't affix your sentiment right away. Pre-make a few sentiments like "happy birthday", "thinking of you" or "get well soon" and keep them with your cards. This way, when you need a special card - all you have to do is glue on your sentiment to the front. Quick and easy! Happy crafting! 🤗🌺

It's always great to make cards and deliver to nursing homes. Hospitals too. The Ronald Mcdonald House accepts cards for families whose children are in the hospital. (In the U.S.) I love the idea of using the freezer paper. Thanks!*

This was very, very nice. I like the pace of your video, there was enough talking without lagging on too long on one thing. Some channels drag on too long on each and every thing as if gluing or punching a hole was a complicated technique. I really enjoyed the freezer paper project which also covers up the picture or text on the back side of the magazine page.

I keep all my magazines. Some are “for “ projects, some are just… in case I think of something 😂 I have all the magazines my mom kept because of a recipe she thought she’d try or a fun project. I love the images in them.

Where you cannot get this plastic coated paper can can simply put plastic food wrap between paper, or serviette backs, and your magazine page to get the same effect. The plastic is the ‘glue’ and the paper is the ‘stiffener’. I hope this helps. 😊

I love using magazines, I don't use printable/digitals even though I enjoy creating them. I looked and Reynolds Freezer paper can be bought on Amazon Canada. I hope this helps.

Something that works like freezer paper is the wrapper of copy paper. The interior is just like freezer paper

I don't get magazines but once a year I road trip it to the States for the holidays and at the pit stops I grab the travel guilds that they have there. Just got this idea this time around because of you. So next year, I'm going to grab them from the two States I go to. One is just through the other one is where we say, but hey, even though I know the second one, I'm going to collect those guides! LOL
