$67?? I was paying $160 or i think $245 for a SINGLE set of flags. Some I really want cost $375. So I bought that much in silk and dyes and rods. i cant remember how many large flags, 30 xlarge flags, 45x55, about 8 -108 x45, 4 - 72 inch long flags, about 6 streamers, and leftover material for scarves for gifts. I have only made about 6 sets and dont have a desire to run and make anymore yet. I am not trying to sell flags, but I have my arsenel ready and make them when I have something to say. That should last me ? years? I can also gift flags to others if led or hand down my flags to make room for new ones. .
When making flags have your material half of the stick and the other part materal..material... say 50yards and your stuck should be 25yards... love your video ❤️
😂😂😂😂 i love how human you are. That is exactly how my cuts look. I think k I saw that video and thought my circle would keep getting smaller and smaller to the size of a baeball cap if I free hand it and no template. I fly flags in church, too and make my own silk flags. Thry are sooo expensive. This way I can design a new flag, depending on what I am.miistering about, have a new color whenever I want. I love this freedom. Mostly I had isses woth fmgetting flags in time. I had to minister once and needed a certain gold. Thry didnt after promising to mail then to me by Sunday. They held on to thenl package until Friday or Saturday. Originally they would deliver ASAP. The flags came on Monday. I still buy flags, but now only on special occasions, not for an event so dont have tonwprry aboit mail delivery. I have not gotten to angel wings. I was planning on taking a serging class to learn how to sew edges. But your flags came out so beautifully. I also use flexible rods. I will try making one with wooden dowels. I used wodden dowels in a long time. Forget how thry feel but they fly so nicely.
