My favorite pant style is definitely pull on! I prefer a boot style nowadays because my hand strength isn't what it used to be! Skinny pants are tougher to pull on.
I'm a follower from the UK, where the amusing difference is that "pants" are underwear for us, so this sew along for me is for trousers! I like a straight leg skinny jean. Love the channel! x
When I was in High school I took Home EC. The first half of the semester was all about learning to cook. Then we started sewing and using a sewing machine with patterns. I remember thinking there's no way I can do this... the sewing machine, with all it's different settings and thread and using your foot and hands at the same time, was overwhelming to me, but we had a great teacher and she made it look easy, it actually turned out to be my favorite class that semester, learning to sew using the sewing machine was so much fun! I made pajamas and they turned out really good. I wish I had continued making things though because now I really don't remember how to use a sewing machine. Lol 😂
My favorite is definitely elastic waist palazzo pants in a lightweight fabric, such as rayon. Please, bring back summer soon! I've already had enough of winter!
Thank you for the video. I have this pattern, just haven’t had the confidence to sew it yet. But after seeing your video I feel like I could do this. As for my favourite pant style, I like pull on stretchy pants. It all about comfort. I also find with this type of pant it eliminates the need to a belt that may end up showing through a fitted top ( I don’t tuck in my tops).
Lots of topstitching, but not too bad. 😁. The gift card is for any pattern by Sinclair, and they have lots! I like your pants preference -- sounds like a mild bell bottom.
For sure. And if you add the athletic knit instead of a waistband, they are basically comfy maternity wear .... For everyone! 😁 And, yes, elastic back is a nice feature. Thank you!
This was a great tutorial. You made the instructions so clear and doable. My favorite pants to wear are jeans. Pull-on stretch jeans seem like lounge pants and public pants rolled into one. That's a win!
Hi! The original $10 Sinclair pattern winner did not claim their prize, so you are the new winner!! 🎉. Please email me at marisewsgold@gmail.com to claim!
My favourite pair of pants to wear are capris. They make me feel young and hippy. I am 175 cm (5’9”) tall and have Dutch hips and so the capri silhouette looks best on me. Happy sewing. Ps love your videos. Quick and to the point 🫶🪡✂️🧵
I like those pants! It’s very hard to find denim with enough stretch here and the postage cost to order internationally is extortionate, so i’ll have to be satisfied with thinking yours are great 👍🏼 I like a boot cut jean. Not skin tight, not flared. Just right ☺️
Those sure look comfy. My favorite pants are woven, jeans or any other material that has a bootcut or wide legs because those are the styles that look the best on my pear-shaped body. Thank you for this giveaway!
These look comfy. I'm currently trying to find a pants/jeans style that fits my body type and I like the look on me. More straight leg, looser leg fit but still hug my hips and butt lol so difficult to find and know what size. I'm definitely leaning towards just making them at this point. My skills just need practice first. TFS 💙
I know what you mean -- you have to try a lot of patterns to find the one that fits like a glove. Those tried and true patterns are the best!! Hope you try these out.
I love straight leg pants, woven or knit, with an elastic waist in the back. I'm wanting to make myself a pair of warm, thick knit joggers that have straight legs and offset, welt pockets in the front.
How do you transfer your marks from pattern to fabric? Do you use tracing paper or tracing wheel with large sprockets. I probably have that device part labeled wrong Please and thank u
