I really wish i could understand what's going on... i can't look at images far away and see what the hell modifications you did from point A to point B... so I'm lost. It can apparently be done, that's cool...
So are you getting power from the receiver or the small battery you showed to activate the spark? I've got everything to build mine and keep watching the video to see but can't figure it out
In this iteration ive taken power from the receiver. you can also choose to have a seperate battery power the spark circuit. 1:33 . at 2:03, there is a connection from the spark circuit to the receiver for power.

Hey mate, you'd want you get the sparking wires close enough together and have them fixed at this distance. Having sharp tips would also help the spark to jump
