I will have the plans that go along with this build and jig specifications to make it easier to build. They will be available on Makerdecorshop.com www.makerdecorshop.com www.etsy.com/shop/MakerDecor
First and foremost let me start by saying thank you. There aren’t many people out there teaching this kind of stuff. I have several of your plans and I’m always on your YT Channel learning and picking up some new tricks. Ultimately I want to have a successful rental business, long way to go but not possible without you. Thank you 🙏🏾
Wow, thank you so much for the support and I am glad I have been able to help you out. I definitely appreciate you taking the time to comment. I put a lot of work into these videos and plans. And it makes it so much worth it, when I know that people are getting value from what I am doing. Good luck on your business and glad to be apart of your journey!!
Yes, for sure. I have the Onefinity journeyman, not quite 4x4 (32 x 48). But no complaints as my garage shop space is very limited. And yes I have created a lot of neat stuff with it for events. Thanks for watching!
Hello Maker Decor, thank you so much for this helpful video. I have a collapsible ripple panel made with MDF and want to paint it to a sage green color. Do you recommend brush or spray paint method? Which brand of paint do you recommend? Thank you!
Hi, thank you very much! For MDF I do not recommend spray paint as it just absorbs it so much and will take a lot of spray cans. If you have a paint sprayer, that will work and be the best option. If not a brush will work fine. The main thing with MDF is to use a primer first because it just wants to absorb paint so much. So a good primer base first and maybe 2 or 3 light coats of paint will do great and look smooth. For brand most will work great as I have used inexpensive and expensive brands. What counts more to the look you want is the sheen. Meaning the paint you get if it is glossy, semi glossy, satin, Flat, etc. They give different looks, so be sure to find the one that fits the look you are going for. Good luck!
Hi, thank you so much for the support. If you read the description from the jig on the website. It has the information on the router that is needed with this jig. Or you can just look it up on Home depot's website. It is the newest Ryobi router battery powered. They have an older one that they really don't sell anymore. This is the newest one that just came out not too long ago. You can also go inside a Home Depot as they have them there now. Again, it has the info on the website where the jig is ordered, but it's really just the newest Ryobi battery powered router. I hope that helps. If you have any questions just message me. Thank you for the support. Good luck!
Hi, the knobs are included with the purchase of the jig and will be in the box. If there was an issue please email me diyrentalbuilds@gmail.com with the order so I can look into it please. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Hi, thanks for watching. At this time I am only doing U.S as I have not setup for shipping to other countries yet. Hopefully in the future I will be able to. But don't have a time just yet. Sorry and thanks for reaching out.
Hi, I do have a stencil outline that you can print out and trace to get the measurements for the jig. Here is the link makerdecorshop.com/products/ripple-wall-plans-only-jig-required-digital-download-these-are-only-plans-on-how-to-build-yourself-jig-is-not-included
Hi, it is from Home Depot and it is the Ryobi Brand. It is their newest router that came out. I will put a link but check the website a lot because they put it on sale a lot. The original price is like $100 but I got mine for like $60 and sometimes they have it for less? Home Depot has a lot of sales of their Ryobi Branded stuff. Just make sure it is their newer one like the one linked below www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-Compact-Router-Kit-with-2-0-Ah-Battery-and-Charger-PCL424K1/320639499
For the backdrop I used 1/2 inch plywood. MDF looks cleaner, but you need to wear a proper mask the whole time cutting it. MDF is terrible for your lungs to breath and this jig makes a lot of dust. I just didn't want to wear a mask the whole time, so I used plywood and it worked great.
@@NipseyEternal99Sorry, I do not have a link to that one as I believe I purchased from Lowe's. But it was a 1/4 inch spiral upcut bit I believe. Thank you
