I'm excited to try this :) I currently use the body shop mango body scrub for my scalp as It's AMAZING, - yes I said it's a body scrub but it helped my itchy scalp! Lol. but it's very expensive here in Australia, for 250g its $29 and I use it weekly to help with my itchy scalp which doesn't last long as it smells amazing and I use it for my body also. So I just came across your recipe and It's going to cut the cost a lot, so thank you!

Thank you for the video. I tried it and my scalp thanks you so much! I have super dry scalp and after I washed it out, shampooed and conditioned I put a light oil do hydrate. My scalp as never been this smooth and soft

I tried this but instead of olive oil I used sesame oil and also used aloe vera instead of honey although even after shampooing twice my hair still smells like a little bit of sesame oil I think it's effective and it did leave my hair really soft and hydrated

This helped a lot. I swapped the sugar for fine pink Himalayan salt. Cause the sugar was too abrasive.

Oh my goodness Anna!!! I added sugar to the Innate Life Scalp Elixer this morning and WOW!!!! You should try it next time. I just put a spoonful of it in a bowl then added a spoonful of sugar.

Hey Anna, my hairs originally blonde and it really does not suit me, at all! So I have my hair dark brown because it suits me nicely and people have told me I look so much better with it, only problem is I want to grow long healthy hair but I occasionally have to dye roots, Is this a major set back in my hair growth journey?

I literally just came from your scalp care video from my search bar, went to check out your channel and you just uploaded this! I'm having problems with my scalp, it's very itchy and has build a lot built up stuff. I have really thick hair and its so hard to wash it. I hope this could help me, I'll try it tomorrow.

I’ve used coffee in the past, it worked but it came out after my next wash. I think it would be more noticeable on lighter hair :)

Piece of good advice-honey, when working with honey DON'T use metal spoon 🙊use wooden one!!!=could cause chemical reaction- irritation plus it's killing the good stuff. Love to you all 💗

@@Kissable-st4r plastic should be fine although I never tried it and in some European countries are these things not available anymore.Hope your skin/scalp isn't sensitive.And honey - depending on what quality your using (I use organic as much as possible)- contains natural form of antibiotics( that can sometimes cause light burning sensation) so I use it sometimes on my face to cure my zits.And if you use high quality honey it can slightly strip your hair color because of it's antibiotics/ bleach properties.Hope it helps you, good luck 😉

@@LikhitaBathula Google says it's antibacterial, helps with blood circulation, etc. It's good in certain moderation. If you have some kind of rash all over your scalp, it's better to go to a doctor than trying any DIYs.

alpana shekhar have a pint of beer with alocohol content not more than 5% and wash your hair from it this will clear all sebum from your scalp and sweat will wash out as well as leaving your hair clean and shiny with adding body to your hair. rinse it with normal cold water and your hair will be very soft. i am a hair care expert so keep doing to my clients. you will be very happy with your hair quality

Yes, I just prefer sugar because the salt will burn if you have any little scratches or anything on your scalp

Lately I'm loving your video . But I have one question you said that use sls and paraben free shampoo , I want to use them but the problem is i like to apply oil on my hair before washing and sls free shampoo doesn't clean my hair properly in 1 wash . And then I wash my hair twice my hair becomes so dry so pls tell me what can I do . Bcz i don't want to use shampoo that has sls pls help me .

I used to have this problem too! So first I stopped soaking my hair in oil. We only need a thin layer to evenly coat the hair, this makes it easier to remove. I always shampoo my scalp twice, even if there’s no oil in it. The only shampoo I use on my ends is whatever slides down from my scalp, and I gently work that into my length to get rid of some of the oil. The important step is conditioner. I use a lot of conditioner and I spend a long time massaging it into my hair. This helps remove the oil a lot, sometimes I can get rid of the oil without even using shampoo, just conditioner. If you’re still having trouble, use the Apple cider vinegar rinse to remove any excess oil 🖤

I have really thick hair and i workout regularly so i get a lot of buildup within 3 to 4 days so can't wait to try this. I'm just worried the sugar might be too hard on the scalp. Could i grind the sugar finely and then use it as a scrub?

Stimulating oils like castor oil are really good, just make sure you mix it with a carrier oil because it’s very thick. For shampoos and conditioners, I’d recommend looking for something that’s sulfate and silicone free. Some of my favourites are from Calia, The Innate Life, The Hair Routine, Carina Organics, and Aquableu. There are many others as well but those are the ones I use the most often 🖤

Yes it will! Hydrating masks and oil treatments are really helpful for frizzy hair. I have a banana mask on my channel that helps me a lot when I have frizz, I would recommend trying it 🖤

You can, it will still give you the physical exfoliation but if you really want the ingredients to penetrate your scalp for a deep purifying treatment you should have clear wet hair.

It definitely can be if you use too much and make the scrub too abrasive. It doesn’t need to be a lot, I could only feel a little bit while I was using it :)

Even i have hairs like urs long and shiny...but they r not thick and i always complain tht y don't i have thicker hairs...but to be honest i have straighter hairs plus the r too silky and it looks soooo flat i can't handle them it makes me so aggressive bcz it's just to much silky and i can't even make proper ponytail 😤and my cousin sisters r dying for straight hairs they ask me which shampoo u use how u washur hairs which oils gonna make our hairs straight blaa blaa blaaaa n then i was like😳😳😳i hate my hairs so jus shut the hell up...then my mother thought me tht god has given u amazing hair take care of them without complaining abt it. have u look at ur sisters ? they r actually paying to get hairs like urs...now i actually feel gr8 i got lots of compliments on my hairs ... Moral is jus be happy whatever u have ..u r absolutely beautiful in ur own way Btw...girl u r really pretty 😘♥️
