I hope that this vlog is helpful :) You can watch the second part where I show you how to make a shampoo bar here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nc-DkLUVieU.html Remember: Everyone’s hair is different that there is no one routine fit all. Study your hair and find a routine that works for your. Also Nothing good happens overnight. It could take months until you can see some results so be consistent with your routine ❤ Hairdryer: geni.us/86hairdryer Hair Donut: geni.us/hairdonut Curl Band: geni.us/curlband ALSO: Please here me out ❤ It’s not my intention to offend anyone with my hair care routine. All I wanted to say is unstable, distorted self-image is a real thing and it has such a heavy impact on our mental health. I know it sounds cliché but we have to learn to love our body (even when we hate it). That was something I also struggled in the past after giving birth and my whole body changed in a way that I never expected. Maybe every day is a battle with our appearance or the bad day when we can’t stand what we see in the mirror. It doesn’t matter how good or bad we look because this could happen to anyone in the world. Like I said, distorted self-image is truly a thing, especially for young women. And while we’re doing our best to take care of our body, I just want you to know that it’s okay, that everyone deserves to be loved and accepted for who we are! Our hair, our body is our life long friend and we need a healthy relationship with them even when we’re not on the best term. Sometimes we have to take a brake from that “battle” and start focusing more on the self love, to pick ourselves up when we’re feeling low. Long hair, short hair, no hair, bad hair, good hair, gray hair… In the end they’re all a part of our identity, and while we learn to take care of it better, we have to accept it, embrace and love it. Don’t judge yourself and don’t judge other. #selflove #selfimage

My own hair growth progress and success, I followed this daily regimen: Take morning sunshine every day for vitamin D. Eat vegetables of different colours. Using paraben and fragrance free shampoo and massaging twice a week with hair oil by litttleextra cooconion. Imp. to keep in mind that hair growth is influenced by general health as well as circulation and diet.

At 61 I still have good hair. But grows super fast so haircuts nope lols. Trim myself or I would never afford to keep it styled any way special. Lols!🌺😘💚

Your hair is a reflection of health. Many years ago I lost all of my hair because of autoimmunity. And my eyelashes too. I had to get needles in my head to stimulate hair growth. I know it sounds crazy. I realized over time that the better my diet was, the better my hair was. Now I use rice water as a rinse and it is so soft and lovely. I always told myself that things could be much worse. We all have things we have to overcome in order to move on with our lives. It makes us who we are as individuals. You would have the strength without a doubt because you would find it in yourself. You overcome these things because your children and families need you too, so unless you are healthy both physically and mentally, you can’t be your best self, which your children need you to be. That means no candy, or processed foods or fast foods or potato chips. I also take some raw rice, maybe a quarter cup or less, put it into a bowl and rinse it. Dump the first rinse. Save the next rinse in a container or jar and take into the shower or wherever you wash your hair and use it as a final rinse. Good luck.

"your hair is not there by mistake. It has a purpose." This quote has me in tears. As someone who has type 4a hair, it's been difficult to accept and love my hair for what it is. I've never had great relationship with my hair. I always hated how long it took to wash it. How long it took to brush it, how long it took to moisturise it. And how I my styling options were so limited because I've always been tender headed... And there are weeks where I just don't bother at all with my hair following with paying the physically painful price of detangling it... At times I felt like I was at war with my hair and I hated it and wanted to shave it all off out of frustration. I never got much help on my hair care journey as the people in my life didn't have anything remotely close to my hair type. I hope I get to truly love my hair for what it is someday. And I hope other people out there with natural hair will do so too.

The whole natural hair community feels your pain 😫 As a 15+ year natural, I know exactly what you're talking about. But I've grown to love my hair and to enjoy doing it, regardless of the outcome. Learning and enjoyment is key! Where do you feel you're at with your hair now? And are you into DIY?
@edengebremeskel1678
@edengebremeskel1678 7 месяцев назад
@@127bubbleshair has A LOT of meaning. Hair has built culture and tradition (as you know with the traditional hairstyles of each community) it Carries symbolism and beauty but many people find it hard to love and live with their hair so when they finally find the heart to love their natural hair for what it is, it’s very emotional for them. To some, finding satisfaction with your hair is a journey and a very frustrating and painful one at that. You clearly have never had any issues with your hair and if you have, I find it very pitiful how u discredit others instead of uplifting them because you’ve been through the same struggles and know the way they feel is unbearable. Please think before you speak. Also, May i know what hair type you have?
@sophialambert6320
@sophialambert6320 3 месяца назад
@@CeeCeeOnIt87at this very point, I kinda gave up. I usually did DIY but it became tiring. I have plenty of recipes written down but I'm just pretty burnt out at this point. I don't like how my hair looks half the time bc of the length of it. I only find it pretty if I wear extensions. And when I rarely get my afro just right lol. The rest of the time I didn't really like the appearance of it.
@CeeCeeOnIt87
@CeeCeeOnIt87 3 месяца назад
@@sophialambert6320 It's definitely a labor of love. I was there for a while (mostly with texture, not so much with length but frustration is frustration) but honestly experimentation and starting over from what I thought I knew helped immensely. My hair breaks so many natural hair rules 😅 But you just gotta try stuff and keep trying, even when you're tired of it. What's your routine look like?

@user-ho4kr5jb5y have you ever tried rag curls? I've seen it done on straight, very curly, and afro hair, and the results were great on each. It's a heatless way to get loose curls. I believe this is how European women with straight hair curled it before curling irons. There's a RU-vidr with kinky hair that did this, but I don't remember her channel. ETA: She's doing a version of it in this video. Lol.

The oil our hair secrets is actually so good for your head and hair it's why it's there. The reason our modern day women get an overproduction is because of all the awful shampoos. Shampoo strips your hair of oil which Is why it feels so clean but for the longevity of health for your scalp and hair it's not good. Once you stop washing often and using the harsh shampoos your hair is like yes ! I'm Not starving anymore and it will produce more oil than it needs. What you need is a bore bristle brush to redistribute the oil throughout your hair and your ends , it's like natural dry shampoo and your hair will begin to become more healthy too. It will take time for things to balance out but it does work and you shouldn't wash your hair more than twice a week. Also you want to protect it at night using silk head wraps and pillow cases and use a nice oil after wash days depending on your hair type and condition will determine which oil. You also will want to think about a protective hair style to use most days. Having ends tucked and up away from your neck because when hair is left to hang down loose all the time it will begin to break and get damaged. Over time all these practices will help you hair health and it will be longer too ☺️❤️

Same here! Diagnosed 5 years ago and at the time I had lost 60% of my hair but I grew it all back. Now my PCOS is acting up again from stress with pharmacy exams and I’ve lost a lot of hair. I recently started oiling my ends with jojoba, doing two hot oil treatments per week with fenugreek in almond oil, eating more pumpkin seeds and Brazil nuts, and using a clarifying shampoo. Also spironolactone for the excess andro+DHT. Over the past two weeks I noticed my hair fall slow down and stopped using heat. Wishing everyone luck with their PCOS/hair journey. It’s tough but you gotta give yourself a hug and remember you’re doing the best you can with the resources available and any improvement made is a big achievement no matter what.

Thank you so much for making this beautiful video. My hair was always my favourite feature until a few years ago when it started falling out. I had it cut short hoping this would help but it just became thinner and weaker every day. I've since made changes to my diet and was looking for some hair care tips right when you dropped this video! I'm excited to try these new things as you've given me hope that I can one day have my healthy hair back 💕

Clicking on this video I had no idea what I was going to walk into. One word: RESPECT.Beautiful video by the way, thank you for sharing your journey! Touching birth photo too🥹The birth of our children changes everything, both within and outside, especially hair care. This is in no way effortless hair as I once believed. I have a new found respect for straight hair like never before, this video is so detailed it made me think of the process of what I go through to wash my type 4 hair and it’s a lot of work too. But it’s true the way you treat your hair and love your hair will determine how long it will grow. You get a 1,000 percent on hair care and your daughter is going to have the same watching her beautiful momma caring for both of you hair. I love how you curl it! And great tips with oil to deal in moisture I do the same lol this was amazing truly made my day thank you. I’m showing my mom this who also believed your hair is effortless care, she’ll be stunned 😁🙌🏽

Currently rewatching this video as inspo to grow out my natural hair. Just this month I decided to dye my hair back to black and grow it out. Oddly enough I always disliked my straight black hair. I guess I always found it “boring” (we always want what we don’t have I guess 💀). I’ve dyed it all kinds of different colors and permed it to be curly. But I’m excited to enjoy my natural hair seeing how beautifully you’ve grown yours out ❤️

Well we all cannot have black hair some women were born with a black hair and some were born with blonde hair and looking at your picture you have fair skin and I like your current hair there's nothing wrong with that color at all I feel as long as you would take care of your hair the way she does your hair will be perfect gorgeous beautiful hair just skip the color you have because it fits you

it's so funny that youtube recommended me this video after i've been telling my boyfriend that i haven't had time to care for my hair lately, because we have the exact same hair texture, thickness, and length. mine is just more naturally wavy (i don't need to curl). you've inspired me to really get back into it. also this was a really beautiful video!

Thank you for this video! The words you left at the end are so touching. I work in healthcare and am always thinking of our kids with cancer. I donate my hair every 1-2 years, once it's long enough / I don't have time to take care of it when it's too long. This video really helped me to reset my mindset. I want to preciously take care of my hair, and so in that way I am taking care of myself and my spirit, and able to pass it on to those who need it, when I donate again.

Your hair is a real gem. Meanwhile, my alopecia has gotten worse. I don't know if I could still regain my confidence as I began losing so much hair as early as 19 years old. My greatest insecurity since I entered the university. Many times I find myself observing women and girls my age and why they have such beautiful-looking hair while mine is losing so much with the visible scalp. But I love your videos regardless. I remember the first time I encounter your Q and A video and provide your insights about depression and other things about life, it helped me a lot. Thank you so much.

Do you use onion as well? The smell stays in even after being washed out. I would like to encourage anyone serious about putting in the work to try cabbage juice and let it sit as long you can manage before washing it out. Apply to your skin as well.

What a Lovely video. Such a high production value. The atmosphere, music, lighting, flowers, cat, little girl, and beautiful mom. I haven't done a hair tonic for my hair and scalp in a while. I hope I'll have time and energy to do that again. In the meanwhile, I still use ACV on my scalp, argan oil on my ends and mids, a satin hair bonnet and pillowcase for overnights, a braid for everyday, minimal heat, and few harsh chemicals. I also take flax oil, aloe, vitamin D, CoQ10 & biotin. All of that has helped my hair reach lower waist/upper hip length. At my age, I'll take it. Thank you for such a gorgeous, informative video.
