DIY Screen Printing with Stuff You Can Buy at the Store 

I’ve seen a lot of diy videos regarding screen printing and I have to say, this is one of the most creative I’ve seen... some other videos used a heavy duty stapler (I don’t have one) but you used duct tape! Some use permanent vinyl... others htv and the most meticulous ones use burning and emulsion... you used freezer paper (a bit pricey but last a long, long time) and mod podge. Genius! I realized I have all the materials at home, and even a Cricut! This video just opened a whole new world of creativity. Thanks for sharing!

FYI: I just purchased a brand new Silhouette Curio from Wal-Mart for $129, $149 with shipping. I’ve been buying craft cutters for years now, and I’ve never paid over $200 for one. Secondly this guys video was excellent, and I’ll be subscribing. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! Just to throw this out there, nobody has to down this guy or be judgemental. Every innovator brings something different, unique, and revolutionary to the table. Nobody said that you’d ever take to every style either, to each it’s own. However when we start bashing someone based on their approach, we’ve therefore stunted our growth as artists and people as a whole. We can treat videos from him or whoever like we’ve got the option to play panel member from American Idol to over compensate our own egos, or we can choose to learn/acquire new skill sets to be able to place food on our tables. The corporate world is becoming a lot more merciless, cold, and cunning folks with no sunnier days in store. However we’ve got the chance now to survive on our own 2 feet, and never work a day in our lives. It’s up to us. Access gold like this while it’s free, before a corporate license/price tag is placed on it.

I love it!! you're the first of many many videos i've watched that actually making this for "cheap"... something i'm going to change when i do my own, is that i will not use mod podge cuz it is water soluble, but i'll just use acrylic paint medium as the blocker... once its dry it will be permanent, and easier to see than mod podge :) THANKS!!

Wow, this is excellent. I wonder if the process could be repeated but instead of cutting out the cat, you cut the cat in and then use the paper as the stencil and tape it in?

This is craaaazy!! If you had a paper cutting machine it would be soo easy!! Can you use these for screen printing small items and onto another surface other than fabric?

Too much work, why to do it like that if you can do it better, faster and easier... Only stencil and spray/paint directly on t-shirt and that's it and it's, forever? ! !

Way... way ... way too much work.. You need to watch "Doing The Freezer Paper T-Shirt Method by Heather Green... She only uses the Freezer Paper...
