DIY Sculptural Wood Table Lamp  

It looked like a blurred out lamp for a second there.

This is brilliant, you are so talented. That lamp will look good in any space.

I would definitely stain the pieces before putting it together but it looks great!

Staining tip: get a better sander w 100-120 grit and make sure you are cleaning off all the “sawdust” with vacuum. Wipe down wood with a damp** cloth and allow wood to dry before staining. This will make your stain and wood look great!!

Love it, but $80 is a bit rich for me. I'd probably use recycled wood. LOL

Test it with a spiral next time just to see if it looks better or not.

Looks awesome! Quick tip: I've had better luck with oil-based polyurethane finish over oil stain, the adhesion on the water based acrylic can be unreliable over oil. YMMV
