Those pink molds at the end are the first molds I ever purchased for soap. I bought it off Amazon.com. They were a breeze to work with and made a good size bar of soap. I tested it out by making soap for my Husband in this pink mold and he loved it. This bar of soap you made looked really good.. The possibilities and design of soap are truly endless.

+UtahGmaw99 I am planning to do this however I can only fit 4-5 letters per bar. Saying that, LOVE, BABY, I(Heart)NY etc will work fine. I also plan to make and sell the silicone molds to other soapers with different letter styles.

You could put the letters the way you want them arranged on a piece of poster board and make a mold with the letters on the bar either raised up or embedded in I am thinking pouring the bar with the letters already on the front in the mold

Hi Dean, did you ever try to stamp your soap ? The plastic font letters set you can buy it at baking equipments sections and its super cheap. Bakers normally use it to imprint fondant Its much easier, faster and practical. Also you can stamps any words you wants or even pour others color inside the imprint soap.

I never thought of using a stamp on my soaps. But will look into it for future soaps.

Dean Wilson : or just used the letters you got already, stick it to a piece clear acrylic sheet or glass. The idea is the same, to create imprint and fill it up with different colors. Hope you make video for it, I am just too lazy. Cheers 🍻

I am not sure, its best to ask the suppler what is best. Each silicone rubber is different.

The catylist came with the silicone rubber. I have seen soap stamps on Etsy and I will be making them soon but no ETA yet. Yes, they loved them.

For special events like these I use the single molds, otherwise I use the loaf mold.

i have a problem with my clear soaps bleeding color really bad. i had made some with hearts in them and they settled perfect but after about 3 days the color bleed into the rest of the soap. any way to fix this

If you use liquid dye they can bleed into the other base around it. Mica does not bleed.

When I melt the glycerin soap base, it gets all bubbly. How can I get it crystal clear. Am I doing something wrong in the temp or some other mistake. Or is the brand that I need to change

It is not a branded product. I am in India. It is from a local manufacturer. What should I look for in the melt and soup base. Should I ask for any Temperature limit or any chemical free soap. Then I can ask the manufacturers to give me the details. There are so many of them here.

Hi Sheema, my cavity mold are 8cm x 5.5cm - The letter size is up to 2cm wide and 2.5cm tall.

+Teri Osmon I sprayed rubbing alcohol on the bottom layer and also the letter, wait a few minutes and they bond together. It's like the glue for soap makers :)

It was my local stationary shop. They dont sell them anymore. That was over a year ago. Any good card making shop should have letters.

+Kyleen Drake To tell the truth I wouldn't. Skulls are not my thing. But it would be the same process. Find the skull item, secure it to the bottom of a container with a small around around it. Make up some silicone rubber and pour it in. You might not get it right on the first go, but keep trying.
