Have you tried the Grip Comb?? You place the comb on your flat iron and it flat irons & combs at the same time so you don’t have to do multiple passes 😊
My hair is coarse too. Flat irons never last for me, I learn to use a straighten or blow CREAM heat protectant and little serum to. I blow dry on cool and I use the electric hot comb on low I don’t go to my root I use big sections with the hot comb it’s smooths and silks my hair out then I press and curl it on lower or higher heat and I use dollar store pink color foam rollers at night to keep my curls no more heat touch ups . For some reason the hot comb prevents my hair from reverting event with sweating. It last for 30 days♥️♥️
