Spraying your hair daily hinders the locking process. You don't need to spray your hair every day with water or rose water. Your hair has to be rough in order to lock. I say this because I had to learn the hard way with my 2nd set. Once I stopped spraying, it started locking. Your hair is beautiful tho

Thank you sis for your input however everyone’s hair is different and I don’t necessarily spray my hair every day I spray as needed

I have used a sea salt mixture that I made off and on. Not sure if it made a difference though. I'm pretty bad with spraying my head in general. But I do have some budding at the shaft of my hair as well.

My husband is from the Caribbean and he told me that many people wash their locs in sea salt water and it helps the locking process. Keep us posted to let us know it’s how it’s working on your hair 👌🏾.

What ratio of water to salt did you use in your mixture??? Or does the mixture measurement not matter. Im asking because I’m assuming if there is to much salt you could dry your hair out.....

1:1 you are correct you can do 1:2 if you would like most recipes online are 1:1
