Beautiful bus. The roof raise and RV windows really disguised the fact it was a school bus. They made it for them, not for strangers on the internet. Naomi is incredibly gorgeous, too.
Smoke goes up carbon monoxide goes down so you need to put that carbon monoxide about knee height that way if you do have a pet or a small child they will be safe because the alarm will go off first so please move the carbon monoxide to knee height or shorter ✌️👍
Such a nice bus and even nicer couple. You guys did a brilliant job. Love it so much. I'm South African....dream about one day exploring the US like this. Enjoy your journey.
The raised space between the roof and the solar panels is essential for keeping the panels cool while preventing the roof from extreme summer heats. Nice design! Those diesel heaters are a lifesaver! You can heat up the whole, bus for just a few dollars a day! I'd like to know if you were able to install a water tank bigger than the usual 20 gallons I see in RVs.
Lovely, practical build. From the story of getting it to the process to pay for it, the stories show that it can be done. Thank-you for describing the errors and details of the decisions in design. It helps others :)
Very well thought out and planned. I love the vehicle and it seems like all the boxes have been checked. I think it was mentioned, but please move your Co2 detector to floor level to get earliest possible detection. All RV's have the Co2 detectors there for that reason.
You guys did a great job! Very homey and comfortable. How high is the bus? Looks like you have to always be aware of bridge hight, just like other higher RV’s. I’m one of the old guys that wish we would have gone out and seen the country, but it wasn’t a thing when we were younger, or at least I don’t think it was a thing. Didn’t have internet back then, and RU-vid really wasn’t a thing until maybe the past 10 years.
Can understand the roof raise with your height. Bus is very nice. For once I'm going to say it: how many times does someone crawl up a ladder drinks in hand, sit on hard deck; no railings for safety.... possibly with a buzz on. Wonder what insurance companies reply when a claim is made by someone injured falling from a rooftop deck, or the injured party sues for injuries incurred. You can see the beautiful sunset from 10-12 ft lower just as well. Not being mean, just realistic. Have only seen ONE bus/van with fold down rails. Nice when your positon allows remote work. It's so nice to have the loyal dog Spot with you. Does add touch of home. Doesn't the jarring ride damage the TV?No one has ever mentioned the effect of the on the electronics etc. though they do say build so that your home can survive a daily earthquake.( the road)😅. Good luck, enjoy, safe travels.
Now that Diesel is running out as planned by the Controllers what are you guys going to do for heat or are you simply going to drive or "move" to a warmer climate?
Windows are wonderful and definitely a nice touch for views/natural light etc. They do make climate control a little trickier which is why many folks who do roof raises delete the bus windows and insert just a few RV windows. :)
Its so disgusting what Pinterest has done to these wemon, "These spice jars cover up my mistake but mostly their really trendy hehehehehehehehe" as if she said some special or was cool for following a trend
