I'm scratch building a Mad Max / Borderlands / Terminator inspired slot car track. So the project features all of the classical hobby elements and fast race cars, what's not to like :). In this episode I'm installing and testing the "Light Bridge" I made a couple of episodes ago. I hope that this project inspires you all and that you enjoy the video.

Yeah the Race Coordinator software is great for a track like this. I have been working a bit on a drag race strip where I was planning on using the Drag Race Coordinator software, hope that works just as well. Anyway I'll get back to that project in a future video :)

Good morning :) I bought an old abandoned farm together with my wife 12 years ago in a remote part of Denmark, knew that my hobbies would take up a lot of room. Still working on getting everything fixed. The place I have been working on this slot car track is an old machine hall. Have planned to seperate it into several "lesser" rooms, one for the heavy wood work, one for photo sessions (for my projects), one for fine woodwork and so on. Building materials are just so extremly expensive at the moment so it's a bit on standby, also need to find the time to do it all :) Thanks for your comment, truly appreciate it :)

very cool project and really well done, would be cool if you could print some small car batterys at the foot of the light bridge as though they where powering the lights as its a wasteland. Just a thought on a small detail.

Very cool Kim, counting laps and lap times 💪 you said these were good for tournaments, will you be having the track featured in a tournament?

Yep, I'm planning on getting the track ready for Le Mans. We host a annual social event during the 24 hours the race lasts. During the day we have all kinds of contests with trophies. We race slot cars, play racing themed boardgames, compete in racing simulators and lots more. I'll make a small video about the event :D Really looking forward to it, just hope I can finish the track in time :)
