I hope that’s a good thing 😂. Nonetheless it was amazing to experiment with this type of keyboard. And I am still using a split keyboard since. I only added a few more buttons. I type on 32 buttons keyboard now. Thank you for stopping by Laura ☺️. It is an honor 🙏🏽.
Do you have any advice on how to make split keyboard like lily58 or sofle ? Please I want to buy it but it cost alot of money to buy the kaihl hot swap switch
I would say go for 3d printed case with normal switches and maybe hand wired. I bought a used keyboard and got 104 switches and keycaps for 20€. I know it’s not the same but it did the job. I hope it helps.
@@LifeHackerMax I am not very good either, but the fact you made a script that works flawlessly, is readable with comments and you had the confidence to upload it for the masses to find is seriously commendable. I was struggling to make a basic script with that library and you nailed it and helped me and I bet so many others when they also stumble across your video. Thank you and again dude, keep up the good work and when you say making keebs is addictive, you are so correct, I am already planning the next build! All the best :)
Thank you so much! Your comment gives me confidence to keep on going 🙏🏽. I am at my second build as well. Did a second version of this keyboard in search for better ergonomics. Good luck 🍀! And I hope you are having as much fun as I am building keyboards 😃.
@@UnderstandingCode it is a firmware function (I only use the function - didn’t write it) for denouncing. If I remember correctly it helps eliminate the electrical noise produced whenever a button is pushed so you will not get multiple key strokes on a single push of a button.
