You are just the sweetest person to share your process with all of us. I have only made wreaths for my own use and I used to think that a wreath should always have a bow. You have taught me that is not the case. :)
Such a great idea to keep your left over flowers/greenery separate!! Use up everything before buying more! Okay! Wise business woman! Loved the pink one and after you completed the yellow, I loved that one. Both are my favorite!! lol!
Haha well, some editing may have made it look like I’m going a bit faster 😆. But these did come together pretty quickly though. About 15 min each, real time. One thing that helped it go fast is I didn’t use any floral wire, and the greenery went on in pretty large chunks.
I loved the yellow and white wreath! Always designed with perfection! Jenny, you just keep raising the bar! Beautiful work by a beautiful young lady! Blessings always. ✝️🙏🏼💫❤⚘😘🌹🥀🌺🌻🌼🌷⚘🌱🌲🌳🌴🌵🌾🌿☘🍀🍁🍂🍃❤🦋
Your wreath are beautiful and you are such a seasoned pro! I make mesh wreaths and would also just rip the flower head off of a stem and plop it on my wreath. I have been venturing out and adding more greenery though and like it. I love your videos to help me be more adventurous with designs.
Aww thanks so much! So glad you like them! Yes, I know what you mean. I have many simple designs that I can offer at a lower price point because of the lower cost to make them.
Hi Jenny, I just love these wreaths. They are beautiful. Leftovers, I wouldn't believe it. You will sell them. I am absolutely sure of it. You are an inspiration to me and I am working on becoming a good wreath maker, because actually I like it! Thanks for sharing with us all your creative ideas.
Jenny these wreaths are so beautiful!! And a random design is quite brave, but you make it look so easy!! My favorite color is “any shade of pink” but I’m going with the yellow!! Just because it’s so different!!💕⭐️
Thanks so much! Yes, it’s so fun just grabbing some things I think will work and making a one of a kind wreath! Good for the creative juices and helps me use up extra supplies! Win win!
Lol, yes pink. I have found so many different kinds of pink florals, I definitely over bought. Love watching you create. Very pretty wreaths. Thank you for sharing. You are so inspiring. 💕🌸💕🌸
You are amazing. Can't decide which wreath is my fave. You are so right about using what you have before buying more. I don't have a wreath room but a wreath box but still don't want to add more clutter. Love all your videos,
I discovered your channel only a few days ago and I have now watched so many of your videos! Your wreaths are absolutely beautiful and I love the way you teach and communicate. You make me desperately want to go and buy a wreath base and a bunch of greenery to make my own wreath for Christmas! But we’re moving house next week, so I’ll content myself with watching your videos for a couple more weeks before I go shopping 🤣 Love both these floral wreaths, by the way. I can’t pick a favourite 😍 From Sunshine Coast, Australia.
So glad you’re enjoying the channel! Thanks so much for watching! Best of luck with your move! I know loving can be so stressful! And yes, you’ll need to make yourself a wreath for your new home! 😉
I really like the pink I like the way you show me how to use all the greenery that's very helpful to me they're both beautiful and the way you tell me all the different kinds of greenery you're using and flowers is a very big help so thank you so much for sharing and teaching me how to make such beautiful briefs with flowers on a grapevine Rosalie Suitter from Laconia NH.
2 very beautiful wreaths, love the yellow and white as I got an order for for 1 and it will be very like it as it's what the person ordered, thank you have a lovely day.....
Jenny I have that problem. My attic, my laundry room and my dining room table are full of flowers. Every day I say I am not going to buy any more flowers, but I've become addicted to Michaels😅
Both are gorgeous, but if I had to choose one, my favorite is the yellow and white! You make it look so easy! I haven't tried to make my own yet, but your awesome videos are definitely inspiring me to try!
Pink!…Love the Colors…. I miss Darice too…Loved their online store…When Michaels bought Pat Catans.. a local craft store that sold all Darice….it disappeared!..sad…
Hi Jenny, Gorgeous as Usual!! I swear the way you put your base greenery together Amazes me Every Time. Its Always the diff types you use & with each new layer I'm saying like Ohhhh, Wowww, Look at that, Beautiful!!! LoL...If udm did the greenery leaves you used at 10:37 come separately?? I'd love to find them. You know you Really should give preserved or dried florals a Try especially with your Skills. I just started with some beautiful dark green preserved silver dollar & 3 head eucalyptus as add ins & Wow...I'm really loving them. I also ordered some more like pampas which I really want to work with & a few others. Anywho... They can be a bit of a pain But Oh So Worth it. 😀
Hi! Yes, those leaves actually came in a bridal bouquet bundle. I have them linked somewhere. They’re definitely linked below my Amazon wreath video, and possible in this one. Thanks for watching!
And yes, I have worked with dried florals some. I’m doing it a little more this year. In fact, I posted a tutorial in my VIP group a couple weeks ago doing a gorgeous boho style dried floral wreath. They are a pain to work with, but so beautiful!
Jenny, I love both can't decide. But my eyes are leaning towards the yellow one. Specially the big yellow flower I think it a Peony ? Trying to remember flowers and greenery names I missed your last live but I hope to catch the next one. Dorothy
They’re both really beautiful but I especially love the buttery yellow one 💛 Have you ever had an issue with the dye running in wet weather Jenny? I made a Christmas wreath for myself which had dark red hydrangeas in and when it rained the dye ran from them and stained my front door. I’m afraid of potential customers having an issue with this happening.
I haven’t had that problem, and I haven’t heard that from my customers. However you can test your florals by getting a petal wet and seeing what happens. If you’re unsure, that could give you some piece of mind.
Where do you get your wreath bases? I thought you said Michael's before. Mine from Michael's never, ever look good like yours do...they are full of large branches and far apart...every time I order from them. I even ordered the Pro box to see if they would be better...and nope...not good at all. I am just at a loss of where to get mine. Thanks.
Yes! I occasionally make burlap wreaths, hoop wreaths, moss wreaths, etc. Just last month in my VIP group we made a wood bead succulent wreath that was really pretty. But if you go through all my videos here on RU-vid you’ll find some other wreath types. But grapevines are by far my favorite 🤩
It can take some practice! Yes, I have a VIP group that is a membership. I’ll be opening to new members in the fall. I teach wreath making from beginner to pro there in more detail. You can learn more about they here www.jennyswreathboutique.com/vipgroup
I haven’t! I didn’t even realize they sold faux florals. I thought they just sold cheap clothes. I looked and they definitely have some things I’ve bought off Amazon before. Definitely worth looking into more. I do worry about the quality, but the prices seem good
You could try a UV spray. I haven’t personally tried that. Or else just pick florals that are already UV protected, and made to be out in unprotected weather. Unfortunately there’s a much smaller selection for that, and they’re typically more expensive.
Hi! I have a free cheat sheet that shares that info! 👉🏼 Best places to get floral supplies Cheat Sheet: www.jennyswreathboutique.com/wreath-making-supplier-cheat-sheet
I used glue every time. Sometimes that part gets edited out because an assumed everyone knows I glue in every piece. I don’t want to bore you with all the tedious parts 😆
Jenny, hi! I've been crafting almost 3 years now & I'm wanting to sell my crafts. A lot of what I make are wreaths also. I've given them away to family & friends, but I don't understand what a listing is, multiples, & the high price.of charging times 2 ...? I wish it was a.lot more simple than this. I would rather charge for labor + supplies. + shipping. I'm just starting out Also, our country is suffering a lot. I don't think many women are going to pay high prices for these wreaths. Maybe I don't have enough faith in myself....
I agree that you don’t have enough faith in yourself. It is your business, and of course you can charge whatever you want. If you’ve watched my pricing video, I explain how I price my wreaths to sell, and that has worked well for me and many others who I teach in my VIP group. I agree, our country is suffering right now. And yes there are less people buying extras like home decor right now, but there are still LOTS who are buying. You can always offer different price ranges based on the materials you buy. Also, people will pay for quality. And it’s ok if you’re not in everyone’s price range. They can get a wreath at a big box store that’s cheap (but it also looks cheap). A listing is a item you have for sale on Etsy (or wherever you sell). Multiples is being able to make the same design over and over and selling that same listing over and over, which builds up your “listing quality score” for that listing and helps it to rank higher in search, which will in turn help you get even more sales. I hope that makes sense!
Thank you soo much Jenny! I see now, & did make sense. You're right, I need more faith 🙏 in myself, & I will muster up some more of that. I actually did surprise myself & my son was soo surprised, he let out big yell when he saw what I did. I made this huge beautiful floral arrangement that was so stunning with lots of big flowers from efavormart on tall glass vases. I glued two together ( hourglass shape). It's in my bedroom & no one has seen it. I was a public 🏫 school in elementary. Everyone would comment on my colors & bulletin boards. Enough bragging about myself. Thank you so much for responding to me, I really appreciate it. I'm going forward# 💐 🌹 🌸 🏵 🌼 💐 🌹
