I’m nervous about hot gluing the interior base. Will that really hold up over time? I’ve already cut the pattern out and am ready to make it but worry about that part.

Depend on how much you use the Ruth Stadium bag can factor into the glue's longevity. You could try a glue like E6000 Adhesive. But I recommend if you have a small scrap piece of vinyl and leather to try it on that first. Make sure to share you finished bag. #sallietomato. Happy Sewing!!

I am struggling with putting the zipper onto the mostly finished bag. I cannot figure out how to close the end with the tab at the end. I have the zipper with the “open” curved end done but the tabbed end makes no sense to me. Help!

How do I get my vinyl to lay flat? I got it with this kit and it comes rolled.

Hi there! Thanks for asking your question! To relax a rolled vinyl you could try a couple techniques: -In a warm room, unroll the vinyl on a clean, smooth, flat surface, in the opposite direction it was rolled (the inner curl to the flat surface). Allow the vinyl to relax on its own. -You could also add gentle weight on top of the vinyl after it's been unrolled on a flat surface. Avoid weighting the vinyl with anything heavily printed or with sharp edges, such as newpapers, magazines, in case the inks transfer to the vinyl or cause imprinting. -If your vinyl has a paper protector sheet, you might try warming an ironing board with an iron set at the lowest temperature, then pass the vinyl with the paper side down, over the warmed ironing board surface. Vinyl is heat sensitive, so always use the coolest possible iron temperature and never touch the vinyl directly with the iron. We hope this helps!

Good morning, on the materials and supplies area, it requires a 12 inch zipper, however in the instructions for preparing the zipper, it states 14 inch zipper. I was using zipper by the yard and cut a 12 inch. I would like to advise cutting the 14 inch.
