I love steampunk, so to see you do this gnome with his fabulous hat was brilliant. I am hooked on your tutorials. You have a great talent and the way you are able to share in such an easy strightforward, no nonsense way is amazing. Thank you Patti. xx
Wow this is what I'm definitely going to make for Christmas this year. I love steampunk and it will definitely be included with my other steampunk stuff.❤❤And the advantage is that this gnome can stay in my home all year round.
I haven't gotten this one til now! Great job!! Love the punk hat on this gnome! Looking so cute and punky. The hats are a bit extra work but are still really cute on those gnomes. I played with some small ones for the heck of it about a year a go and my daughter told me they are so cute for a pet hamster....what a brat.....lol
You are an awesome person. Thank you for sharing. You're ok ncre do ibly talented. I've done m to own st patty gnome an do cupid. I've done your Scottish cow. They're great. I pause the video as o I can my match what your doing. I'm in awe. Thanks Patti
I know it's a year old, but I just found this video, and absolutely love the steampunk gnome. I'm still finding videos I haven't seen of yours it's really fun getting caught up.
Patti, you're so awesome, I enjoy watching you make you Gnomes. You are the Queen for sure. I have tried to make some of them, they are so darn cute . Thank you for sharing your wonderful tutorials and designs and with the patterns too.
I absolutely love this, especially as its steampunk inspired... Im not sure if you have them in the states but these gorgeous little creatures are called "Gonks" similar to gnomes but gnomes live in gardens and have full faces and are usually themed in the same way, gonks are just cutely adorable little wannabe human beans, they don't show their eyes just their noses which prop their hats up and each has its own unique look & personality, I love drawing gonks, I create different looks and families, their just too cute not to... ...🥰🤗😍... Im so glad I "accidentally" found your video, I instantly subscribed and now I'm really looking forward to watching more of your creations... Sorry for waffling on abit, I get a little "comment carried away"... ...🤭... Take care & stay safe my lovely... 💫😷🖌👩🏼🎨✏😷💫
@@PattiJGood omgoddess once I wrote my comment I looked at your home page and saw all your wonderful gnomes I thought "oh no, I hope you don't think I'm being rude" as that was not my intention at all... I absolutely love your creations and I'm really looking forward to seeing lots more... Thank you for the kind reply, have a wonderful day or evening, I'm not too sure of the time difference...? ...🕦🤦🏼♀️🕒... Take care & stay safe my lovely... 💫😷🖌👩🏼🎨✏😷💫
We have those here, we basically call them all gnomes. :D Those you described are usually called garden gnomes to specify they're meant to be outside (made of resin, sometimes concrete/cement or similar stuff).
I have a pattern for a male nurse and a fireman. Here are the links. Nurse - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-96vnjHd86AI.html Fireman - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cU_e4p022o4.html
Love all your makes would love to ask if you could make Arc Welder gnome as wanting to make one for our father's day pressie . Would be so so grateful for your help how to do one many thanks in advance . And Have a blessing weekend . Angie
Thanks Angie. Not sure I would have one ready that soon. You could use a 1/2 clear ornament to make the hood. If I come up with any other ideas, I will let you know. Thanks, Patti
@@cheryllampton7419 if you work with clay, you could make his head and chest from clay. Are you familiar with a wire armatures? You may need to make his body that way and add clothes, because he is so skinny.
I love this guy!!! I was wondering, you say the grommet is 15/32" (12mm)... Is that the size of the hole or is that the total diameter of it??? I have a few here and was going to see if a set of mine will work...
Patti J. Good... I just went to amazon to get some of the faux fur (from your link), and says out of stock and they don't know if/when it will be back in stock. I especially want the grey color, but also the others. Do you know of any other place that carries that faux fur in those colors? I am new to gnome making and love all your videos.
Thank you so much Toni. I have purchased a lot of fur from this Etsy store and have really been happy with the quality. www.etsy.com/shop/BiannaCreations?ref=simple-shop-header-name&listing_id=737051285
Hi Patti...I'm having a heck of a time getting the 'flange' off the back of the grommet. I've use tin snips to try to make cut so that I can fold back...yeah...no. I've tried needle nose pliers to wiggle back & forth...no...I've tried to bend back & flatten...no, it distorts ring...how do you do it?
I used the side of the grommet that is flat. There are two parts of each grommet. The flat one and the one with the flange. I am using th flat one. It has little teeth on it and It gripped the cork. I am so sorry that it was unclear. These are the ones I used.bit.ly/3gJ3YvN
@@PattiJGood Thanks Patti. The flat side on the ones I have is very insubstantial & doesn't have the nice round edge to it or the teeth that you spoke of. But thanks, again, for the source.
