Wow, it's so simple & yet the end result is really lovely/looks super fancy! Like you'd pay a pretty penny for something like this at the store! I also love that the process is not overly complicated. Lots of tutorials want to slap on some mod podge, paper and call it a day, assuming you have the luxury of already owning some mod podge. This however is perfect for when you get that late night crafting bug or you're a young girl with little access to fancy craft tools. Really great work. :)
I have done this same thing, but I used 12x12 scrapbook paper. This helps eliminate the piecing step that you do. Also craft stores like Michaels often sell single sheets of papers in some amazing colors and designs. Thanks for the tutorial!
one of the best ideas I've seen in a very long time....I can't wait to do this project....and I can't believe how many rude haters are out there, its so upsetting to me.....please don't let them get to you, what you did is wonderful:)
Excellent idea! I was going to do the same thing to the top of my bins because they're stained with make-up, but I didnt even consider that the drawers could be dressed up as well. Thanks for sharing.
this was supercute!! i too was cringing when you used the papercutter. i always love the functionality of those drawers but i thiught they were hideous! you made them cute! i have this whole black and white theme so this would be perfect and also you can chsnge it easily if you chsnge your decor! goid job!!!
i LOVE this! I did something similar for the storage bin that I have for all my crafts and stuff, but I love that you did this for makeup, totally glams it all up! The pattern is awesome too, I'm gonna go see if I can find a similar print:)
This is such a great idea! You are sooo creative. I have watched a few of your videos and now I am hooked and you have a new subbie now. You are so pretty and your eyes are simply amazing. I like makeup and DIY videos and this is one of my favorite DIY vids. Use your natural creativity to keep the DIY videos coming! Keep up the good work!
OMGosh, that old school paper cutter used to give me the creeps! I was nervous for your fingers O.o Cool idea, tho! I use those little storage drawers, too :P
Wow!! How stinkin adorable is this!? Great Idea hun.. Now im going to have to Jazz up my lil storage bins too! hahaha! Thnx for this video. Muah xoxox *Tabitha*
This is nice! Watching it gave me the idea that wallpaper samples could even be used. There's a secondhand craft store where I live that always has books of wallpaper samples...Maybe I'll give it a try! : ) Also, there are a lot of really good 2-sided tapes and spray adhesives that might work. Just thinking out loud...sorry! LOL!
Cute idea for sure. I think you can simplify this and cut out a few un-needed steps. like measure the drawer first then cut all the paper at the same time instead of each individual piece. Love the design tho, damask and chevrons are my ideal designs.
I don't see why some of you "women" are such haters... I mean really? Do yourself a favor and work on your own self esteem and stop sippin that hateraid! I thought it was a descent DIY video... I am 46 years old and I learn from these videos and get good ideas also... Thank you Nancy.. and don't worry about the haters, they are only jeoulous! I love that pattern and would like to know what it is called or where I could get something similar?..thanks!
Im a newbie to your vlogs only seen so far and had to sub im a crafter (greating Cards) and i love it and i did something like this to alot of my storge boxes its geart isnt it. Any i love the way your makeup is i love u have a new fan in me oxo
AGREED FAITH!! Having been a volunteer myself, I'm well aware of the time it takes from your family & life to do such a thing!! I y'all don't like the video, you're welcome to turn it OFF!! Instead of being ugly to the HOST!!
Omg!!! Thanks for this vids my bf's mom jst gave me 2 white container like those and I'm using them in my makeup room and was wondering how can I make thm look cute!!!
@nancyvlp 1st let me say that after reading some of the other comments I don't get what's the big deal with how you started the vid or how you look?? This is your vid you can do what u want! Keep doing YOU hunny! I love it :) 2nd I wanted to know did u use regular print paper & if so how were u able to find that design? Thx in advance :)
Great idea and these look so pretty. I am a paper crafter. So I thought I would share some information. The tape contains acid and will yellow. Purchase glue dots at Michaels or ACMoore. They are smaller, stronger and will not turn yellow.
