Very proud of the work I have done on this model. Using extra time on getting the print completly smooth definitly pays off. In the next video I'll make the ceiling mount for the model, and then I'm going to make the robotic parts. Please let me know what you think of it so far, thanks :)
Thank you so so much :) I'm working on the second episode (and some other stuff for the channel) just been really occupied by work since the vacation endend :(
I know how it feels to lose power we get a lot of thunderstorms where I'm from also I have to try that UV resin trick to help smooth the surface awesome video Kim thanks for sharing
Thanks for your comment, always appreciated :) It's very rare that we have a total powerlose, never turn on my printers if there's thunder looming in the distance.
Looking cool. Next time when preparing the model prior to cutting it, you should hollow it to a specific thickness in Meshmixer. Then when you cut it you don't need to cut out the inside as it is already open and it will save on a lot of filament. Just be sure not to make it too thin. Always love seeing your videos. You create some awesome pieces. Keep up the good work.
This would have been a fun zBrush sculpt. I’m pretty good at sculpting faces. Taking the generic female and getting her to look like Summer would be cool. She has very distinctive eyes.
@@JohnJones-oy3md No worries, just had a lot of "real life" work and the current energy prices are forcing me to chop wood instead of working on my hobbies :) New stuff on it's way, just startet a 14 days vacation :D
Hi great video. I noticed you have the 5kg filament reel fitted to the top of the printer. I checked your videos and could not find the design that you used. Can you supply a link to the 5kg top loader 3D Print?
Hi Ewen thank you for your comment. The one I have on the top of the printer doesn't work with 5 kg, there is a risk of the spool falling down and damaging the machine (have tried it :( ). I ended up removing it and changed it with one that could be placed on the table beside the printer instead on top of it. Search for (filament holder 5kg) on thingiverse. It's a great idea to add a base made of wood and mound the filament holder on it. This way it stays in place :)
