Now this is the perfect box tutorial, the pace is workable, your audio and explanations are clear, and your end result is flawless. Thank you SOOOOOOO much for sharing.
I can relate so much to this. I also dislike keeping my decks in their boxes and I wrapp them up in cloth... It's just getting harder and harder to find the one I'm looking for 😅. Thank you so much for sharing your ideas and your honesty.
Hi, Hope you are doing well! I enjoy watching your videos a lot. I can't thank you enough for this wonderful video.I have made my first DIY box watching you. Many many thanks :-) God bless!
What an excellent tutorial! I had no idea how good this video was going to be when I started watching! Your attention to detail and the way you explain things is perfect a+++ I can’t wait to make a box for my favorite Tarot deck now!
Wow. Your first box is very nice. I have 4 decks. 2 I have trim more or less and the other 2 I haven't touch. I live in Denmark, we have stores where you can buy boxes so I hope to find something they can fit in to without jumping around. It doesn't matter how they surface is.I can always play with that.As long as the size is right. Thanks for the inspiration.🧡
I just wanted to say thank you cause I just loved your video and just loved that you shared, your creativity! I can’t stand it when my deck doesn’t have a box that is sufficient! I love u so much❤️🌈💎
I’m so glad this video popped up in my feed, this is absolutely brilliant and I cannot wait to try it! Thank you for showing so much attention while describing how to do things and attention to detail for such great finishing touches. And anyone who says “that’s what she said!” is cool with me!😂 👌🏽
Absolutely inspirational! A far more elegant way of making a box than the method I have been using. Thank you so much for sharing, it's a fabulous tutorial x
Thank you so very much for this video! A little tip I learned from putting decals on toys and cars is to use a credit card to get out the air bubbles. lol Works like a charm once you get the hang of the angle. Stops screaming from kids and husbands and they think you are a genius! LOL But don't tell unless you have to or get caught. HEHEHE.
This video is such a delight to watch !! I LOVE the way you're careful about the details and the finish . Will definitely try it for some decks that came with no boxes :)
This is an awesome tutorial. The right level of detail and the right pace. I actually feel confident enough to try and make a deck box even though I don’t need one! 😂
This video is great! I treated myself for an early Xmas gift, and purchased many MANY many decks that I have been wanting 😍 I’m going to the craft store tomorrow to look for paper and supplies 🌈🌈🌈🤙🏻
This is so wonderful - thank you so much for sharing the process. You are a champion for sitting down this long to film it for us all. I am so keen to give this a try, I think they look really professional and I love the personal touch it gives your decks, also I am certain I would have more luck with this than creating a tarot bag lol. Much love
Thank you very much! This was a very informative and thorough tutorial. I'm in the process of creating my own, handmade oracle deck and this will come in handy! I prefer boxes from pouches, so now I will be able to make nice and sturdy box for my deck!
I just love love love these boxes. To me they are professional. I have some cards to make boxes for. You make this look so easy to make. I made a deck of cards and want a box instead of a bag for them. I will be making this one very soon. You did a great job and I hope mine turn out nice like yours. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed day!
These are very nice, great ideas! I decupodge metal receipe tins from Goodwill for "tarot card coffins," lol. I'm getting ready to make some, next weekend. I'll post a vid, too.
Wow -- your video is a godsend!! Thank you so much for sharing with us. I can't wait to start making boxes for my decks. What unique way to infuse your energies into the deck by creating a new home for it :-)
I don't think they'll be as perfect as yours, but I definitely will be happy to share what I'm able to assemble. Thanks again for taking the time to create such a great video! You explained everything so perfectly and gave some great tips! :-)
Thank you so much for this very detailed video. I used your papering method to cover an iPhone box that fit one of my decks perfectly. Next I will try to make my own box.
Who’s to say what’s professional and what isn’t? They are beautiful and it’s nice that color schemes match. What could be more personal and more perfect? Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful video! I've been searching how to make diy box for my Tarot and found your tutorial video. You've not only got those wonderful boxes but you also got talent!
You are so lovely, I love listen to your voice:) Thank you so much for this tip, I just tried to sew a pouch but I hate to sew so I stopped half way through it and then I found this video on youtube - so well, I think I am gonna give this a try instead! So Thank you for sharing- it seems so easy when you do it, hope it will be that for me too!! And very nice result for the queen!:)
I used to make boxes a few years ago and found that by using mini binder clips when all sides glued held in place easily whilst they dried just a little tip never thought of lining boxes inside and out to make tarot and lenormand boxes great idea
I LOVE ❤️ all your DIY videos and was so thrilled for this one because I dislike tucks also!!! This is awesome to make super custom boxes for my beauties ! Thank you 🙏🏼😍💕
Really looking forward to your creations!!! And it´s very easy to adjust everything to your own needs and design, once you figured out the "basics". Lots of love!
I've been trying to figure out what kind of bags I want to make for my decks for over a year and not found anything that's quite right for me. Turns out it's because I want boxes like these :) Great tutorial full of really useful details that I wouldn't have thought of and would have got wrong. Also, the triangle measuring thing is called a set square in English, but mine doesn't have those useful guidelines so I might have to invest in another one.
it´s definitely a good investment. It´s so helpful and really minimizes the time needed. Really happy you found this video useful and want to give it a go :D
For future reference, that triangle looking measuring tool that you use, that's called a square. No, not because it is a square persea, because it is clearly a traingle by shape, but reason being is because you can "square" things up when measuring. So, the term that you can use when trying to get two or more sides aligned with each other in any form of construction quickly and efficiently, you can just simple say, "Square up," and people in English cultures will know exactly what you are talking about. Much easier than saying, "Align all your sides," or, "Line up all your sides," because it takes more effort and words to say it. Two words and two syllables verses four or five words and five syllables. Both mean exactly the same thing. Can also be used as "fight words" when used in the right context, which means, "They sized each other up."
@@Cuilfaen Glad you love it lol. Just remember square, squaring, and squared; depending on refering to future tense (i.e. square, squaring), present tense (i.e. square, squaring), and past tense (i.e. squared). You can also say it a little differently by saying something like, "We are going to square [or, be squaring] off these sides." So it is entirely up to you to say either, "Square up," or, "Square off." So for our "fight words" example, it can be said as, "They squared up," or as, "They squared off." Just three words to say the same thing lol. However, "squared off," can have the connotation that they actually faught, whereas, "sqaured up," can mean they, "sized each other up," but nothing else happened.
You could very easily make a magnetic box with some mag tape and making one side of the lid attached to the bottom box. I was looking at the standard edition of the Santa Muerte, trying to figure out how to make a vertical style tuck box. Might need to experiment.
Kadden Mathews yep, definitely a lot more options there. I did a box closed with a little velcro sticker (could easily be replaced by magnetic stickers) quite recently for my Labyrinth Tarot. But there's some more adjustments needed before I want to share that template. As for the Santa Muerte: it's kind of a box in a box with the lid and the outside box having the same width and length and another layer of coated cardboard added inside the bottom box. Maybe I'll try that out at one point.
Cuilfaen yeah I thought about a box in a box. Maybe do just that, double up the card board before covering it. Hmmm, more thinking on it. Might buy extra cardboard to give it a go.
I've been trying to make these, but am having trouble making the tops the right size - they end up either too big or too small! How much do you add to your original measurements to make the top fit correctly? I really love these, thank you for making a video!
@@Cuilfaen Thank you! I had actually tried that and it came out too large, but I couldn't remember if you'd covered it in the video, so thank you for giving me the time to click on and see your process.
Thank you! This ruler is quite common here in Germany (it's called a "Geodreieck") and you can get it at every store that sells school supplies or stationary, but from what I've heard so far, it's difficult to get in other states. I'm sorry.
cuilfaen would you mind if i used some of your diy videos to post in a witch fb group I'm in? I'm doing a diy corner and would love to use this one as a reference point.
Sorry did not explain it clearly when you are going to tuck the outside paper inside to the inside to make it easier to fold over neatly score it with a paper scorer so it folds over neatly .
What a fantastic tutorial! Thank you so much for creating it! I was also wondering - seeing that you're a German speaker - could you maybe recommend some fun tarot channels in German? I'm trying to improve my German level and I thought I could do that by listening to some videos! :))
Wolf Of Coins Thank you!!! To answer your question: I have to admit that I never really started watching any german tarot channels, so I don't really know where to point you 😶 Only exception is Hexe Claire - I love her channel.
