Hey Guys! I'm a bit behind on uploading my videos but I'll do better! If you want to see what I'm up to more recently follow me on IG @Reva.theartist Anywhoos.. how is your tattoo journey going? Tattooed yourself or someone else yet?
@@dropintheocean999 Hey thanks! I was doing the same . It’s definitely the combination of hand speed and voltage for me. But yes 6 works for me on fake skin
I wouldn’t recommend the fake skins I used. They are not very good. I’ll likely be ordering some ‘reel skin’ or ‘trueskin’ on Amazon cause I’ve heard they are better quality. Everything is trial and error. But if you want something cheap ,read some reviews on Amazon , pick one and hope for the best . As for needle sizes I only have a few configurations.. 3rl, 5rl, 7rl, 9rl, 9rs, amd 9cm. So I can only choose from those till I get more variety. It’s all trial and error really. Smaller needle groupings are used for smaller lines and smaller details and larger groupings for thicker lines and maybe filling in. I tend to use thicker lines on the outside of a piece and thinner ones on the inside. I usually uses mags for filling in an area or soft shading. You want to use at least a few different line weights to make your piece more dynamic. Every artist will be different but with practice you will find what works best for you. Thanks for watching 😁
