I would recommend using skin safe markers or eyeliner (sealed with hairspray) since ball point pens are somewhat toxic and for an activity likely to be repeated it’s better to use the safer option. Chemicals are absorbed by your skin (hence why hemp is so popular in skin products for relaxing).

So a “Do It Yourself Temporary Tattoo” would literally be a drawing or you’d draw on those tattoo sheets and transfer it to your skin using water. Y’all dramatic corny asses under this comment😂

Sorry, its just pop up on my mind, i remember when my teacher saw my classmate writing on his hand, then he scolds him and says that the hand is not a paper, and says that "Do you know that our skin has small holes, and when you write with your hand, the ink of the ballpen will enter inside your body." Ugh, i was terrified that day when i saw my hand with a ballpen ink , I quickly erased it 🤣🤣

Do you realize the number of things that are absorbed through the pores of your skin on a daily basis?! Many of the soaps and lotions we cover our skin with are full of chemicals that are worse than the chemicals in ink. Also there are many non toxic inks you can use to do temporary tattoos so go ahead and create.
