I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! I just ordered my kit, it'll be here Tuesday. I am a self-taught nail tech, I attended RU-vid University and you are one of my favorite teachers. I really want to do a money nails look, inspired by you of course. I'll update and let yall know how it goes.
Wow I have never seen someone use dual forms so nicely!!! I def need to practice more. Thank you for this uv/led lamp omg! It’s so cheap and exactly what I have been looking for. I’m sold by it’s low heat setting
I accidentally bought a polygel kit. I thought it was just regular gel polish. But I'm looking forward to giving it a try after watching your video. Also, this was so soothing, I loved it.
Your voice is so soothing and your laugh so so so cute. Especially when the nail wouldn't wiggle off too easily, I like how you articulated and spoke thru out the whole video. Also Im SO mad at myself for watching this video after I had already started the process cause it seems I'm still missing some materials 😫 anyways thanks for the awesome video!!
This is the perfect step that beginners can follow and watch your nails like a pro. Thank you putting this up. No need for wasting money in the salon when we can do it.
Capricorn Betch well maybe not everyone can afford the real deal!!!! If it works, and we’re all happy with it who cares!!!! I’m not going to not buy it just because of what you say!!!
Capricorn Betch I didn’t call it the real deal I said not everyone can afford the real deal. And who said I was going to push it on to others!!! Not me!!! I like what Evie does and if you disagree to what she wants to use then don’t watch her channel!!! I don’t see you criticising her for what she uses or buys!!! It’s each to their own.
Capricorn Betch I think you are arguing with the wrong person. I understand your point but people can buy what they choose. You can take you argument to Amazon, they are selling the product and the owners of the product.
I got the same exact things you had. The only difference was that I ordered it on amazon and I chose same day delivery at checkout cause I’m not waiting!
Thanku Jesus...😃I'm so happy tht I came across this...I'm tired of these nail technician's drilling the hell outta my nails..causing them to b extremely thin smh..Thanks sweetie for showin this..stay blessed and God bless 💜
Bought these on a whim having no idea how to her them. Took them out the package and was absolutely confused what to do with them lol. Now I can go try them out!
These companies need to come up with a nail product that removes itself entirely-safely, simply, with out nail breakage or pain, and is fast. I’m tired of having to grind, soak, and or peel off a nail.
If you keep your nails done all the time, it’s really helpful to keep a clear base of polygel on your nail so that when you get a fill or change design, you don’t have to file all the way down to the nail.
@@LA-yf4jf is absolutely right. You should never _ever_ go all the way down to the natural nail when removing a product like this, or acrylic, or hard gel. Always have a thin layer of clear product to leave to grow out with the natural nail
I'm not sure if it works for this, but there are companies that have started to sell peel off gel polish removers. Not sure if it would work for this though
I just want to say i am in my mid 30s have zero experience and this tutorial video has been the best i have seen in the topic. Very detailed yet basic. Calm voice and clear. Loved it i feel i can do this too with my zero experience.
TheBeautyBlog Please do not buy this product its not for beginners nor is it polygel and it doesnt take 15 minutes it takes hours then it pops off the next day SAVE YOUR MONEY I WAS A FOOL FOR BUYING IT
Youll need a bonder I've used poly gel before but because I didn't use a bonder for my nails they popped off if you decided to use poly gel make sure you buy something called 'protein bond'
I love this I just order my kit today and I am getting mines tomorrow and it comes in the mail cause I am so done with nail shops thank you so much beautiful.
Sis you’re the best!! I bought one of these kits from Amazon and was using their “slip solution” it was a sticky mess!! The alcohol tip was a lifesaver
Lapassion Walker hey girly, I also wanna start doing my nails😩the salons by my house ripping me off😭 let me know how it goes if you do your nails, by no means am I a nail professional🤣 so I wanna have an idea if this is easy enough to do at home
Love your explanations! Some RU-vidrs you have to scroll the comments find out when the video actually starts lol. This is the same kit I've had my eye on. The nails look gorgeous!
This is a really good tutorial, thank you! I did my first set of polygel nails and while I made them look okay, they came out way too thick 😶 I see where I went wrong after seeing this video, looking forward to applying the techniques you demonstrated 😁
I recently bought a whole set of these gel nails, but it didn’t come with instructions. Now that I’ve seen this video and how easy it is, I’m grateful for this video! If I remember to, I’ll edit in an update as to how they turned out!
@@lorendanyelle6941 It is not as easy as she says it is, shes a professional. Out of all of my nails, only 3 looks really good and the rest arent as pretty. I have to practice more
I did mine today for the first time. Took my hours mainly so to shaping with my drill. They really look nice. Using the dual made it very easy. Also, I added some on top free hand to thicken the gel. Thank you for the recommendation which I was why I purchased, liked and subscribed. It really is easy.
I just did my polygels using the model ones nail kit. It’s really nice and it does look just like u went to the salon. BUT one important thing is that if u want the long slim square shape then u need to use a duoform that goes slightly over ur nail bed. If you want a oval shape or stiletto nail then use a slimmer nail form
@@nuggetuwu2529 Polygel will always burn your finger, I know it hurts but you have to work through it. I tap my foot and try thinking about my favorite food or game. Its different for everyone though!!
I just bought this kit and did my nails and I am in love with it. This was quick are you doing nails then with regular gel or acrylic’s. And my nails look so flawless and I got them done quick in the right way but I was happy. And it comes with a lot of product which is really good and different colors.
Guys I caved 🤭 I bought it. If you buy the kit in the description of the video it is 39$ on Amazon prime... it comes with 3 different color gels, the nail forms, the brush/spatula, AND a curing LED light!! Such a steal, highly recommend
This tutorial was super helpful. I was not sure how to use the forms. I have always used the stick on paper forms and they were very difficult and messy. Thanks so much, for your informative tutorial.
I love this whole video beginning to end, I'm jealous of your naturel nails! I love your playful tone throughout, and most of all, helping me feel confident enough to try on myself. Thank you thank you thank you
Wow!!! That was easy and not hair to follow. No sticky messes and filing for days. I love it and that kit I will have to TRY!! Thanks for making a easy to follow tutorial now I feel more confident in doing now own nails with no problems.
For the beginners like myself remember that this is a 10-year Nail Tech. The application process is not as easy as it seems but do not get discouraged when the build of your dual form is not as perfect!! I suggest that you pick your least favorite color out of this kit and purchase a huge bottle of acetone. Some of the nail technicians were worried about who's Nails will be left to do after this review went viral but trust me a lot of people will not have the patience when it doesn't come out as nice as hers.... It's NOT as EASY as the way she keeps repeating in this video.
Candace Terrell thank you! I struggled and put it on way too thick. I took them off. This takes some practice and go slowwwwww. I would also do my non dominant hand first 😂
My daughter did these for me, and it took 2 HOURS. Plus, we had to cut them short afterwards because the tip of one broke off. But now it's day 2, and they are still gorgeous! Yes., it's a lot of work, but they are very pretty once done. Look, it's better than going to those nail shops and asking for gel nails and getting their version: acrylics with gel polish on top! 🙄
Would you say this product is as thick as it should be? I’ve seen some reviews on polygels from China, and they were basically thick builder gel in a tube.
Thank you so much for this video, I did my first set today! They aren’t as good as yours but I’m pretty pleased with my first attempt! Bye bye nail salons.
So I went ahead and purchase theses in pink💗 with all stuff to go with it only 50 dollars. AND OMG THEY DONT HAVE A STRONG SMELL!unlike acrylic, I'm loving it 💯😍
This is beautiful and this looks like this is def recommended for beginners. It's so easy. I wanna get this kit before actually practicing with acrylic. Would you recommend polygel for beginners?
Chicago Gyrl polygel is a mixture of gel and acrylic. The dual form helps if you don't know how to form acrylic on a tip or the form. Same goes for gel. With polygel you get the best of both worlds with a dual form
Best step by step I’ve watched so far! Thanks girl :) I got this kit and I LOVE IT! It takes some practice for sure to get the right thickness. The base coat is sticky after applying so I had to work quickly before I got dust or hair stuck to my nails.. I wiped off with alcohol once but apparently you’re notttt supposed to.
You definitely can use the forms if you want. I've seen plenty of videos on here where they just placed some on the cuticle area of the dual form and dragged it out a little so it'd blend in the middle. Then cure...file down any pieces down in the middle once you remove the forms. I personally think it'd be easier that way but to each it's own! :)
I love it!! It looks so relaxing when you pop it off. I cant wait to buy mine!! Im never going to the nail salon again. I pay what id pay for a full set for a whole entire kit.
Simple but very pretty. Classic color/look. I need to try this one day. I'm a perfectionist, so I know I'd suck at acrylics. This would be the thing for me! I need this!! And you can't beat the price! Wow!
I ordered this kit a couple of days ago from Amazon and received it this morning, can't wait to try it!!! You didn't say in your video but did you prep your nails with dehydrator and primer before applying the gel? The nails look awesome....love your videos!!!
Jessy Kane ...I am a beginner doing my own nails. I found these easy to use & really like this kit. As a beginner I did struggle with knowing the right amt of gel to put in the form so that the nail didn't end up too thick or too thin. I also highly recommend getting some of the clear nail clips to hold the gel filled form in place when placing in your light! I didn't have the clip when doing my first set but have some on order. You definitely need some rubbing alcohol or slip solution when working with this polygel as I found it to be really sticky. All in all I think it's a great kit! I am not a nail tech, just like doing my own nails :)
Some people say just a few days others say a few weeks. I guess it depends on how much you use your hands. I've also heard a lot of ppl say it's not as easy as evie makes it look. It takes inexperienced people about an hour per hand to finish from what I've heard. I'm too afraid I'll get bad results and have wasted $45.
