To everyone saying that it would be cheaper to buy... Just think. That's not the only reason people do diy's, yeah sometimes people do it so it's cheaper but sometimes it's fun and even a hobby to make crafts. Plus I haven't seen one like it... doing a diy doesn't have to mean copying, you can bring out your creativity :) Create something new
And, creating it yourself makes your home a better expression of "you" rather than someone else's manufactured ideas. I love knowing that someone can walk into my space and not being able to readily guess where I bought anything, likely cuz I made it or tweaked it in some way.
I've got the spray adhesive, different color spray paints, along with E6000, hot glue gun, and just a lot of stuff lying around from other projects. Even some thrift store frames and scrapbook paper. I just need knobs, batting, buttons and roping. I love creative stuff like this, and you are very detailed in your descriptions. Some people leave out names of products or something that makes it hard to follow. You did a GREAT job, and are an inspiration! Thanks...
I am blown away, this are brilliant. You are so creative, this is very difficult project but you done it so well. I love the colours you chose, all the details, very well made, look very classy. You give me a preception of you to a another higher level.
Your descriptions are great. You are precise and to the point. Some people ramble on wasting most of the time on things other than the project. You are awesome, very easy to listen to and very easy instructions. I love all your projects.
I just happened upon your video while looking up something else, and I'm so glad I did. A great instructional video, and your project was certainly worth the effort. I've lived long enough that my motto for my life really is reduce, reuse, recycle. From your description you used craft items you already had on hand, and upcycled this piece into something marvelous. You can be sure I clicked on "subscribe"
I love the care you put into your DIY projects. I am more of the DI-buy person, but the realistic usefulness and care you put into the things you DIY is so inspiring ♡
Christine..How special is that!! You are so talented..I love DIY projects..That sure made the space on you wall just come to life..I love the colors you are using..they are so nice and light..Makes me want to paint everything..LOL I will never look at old picture frames the same..LOL xoxo Loretta
I've always loved beachy colors, and this turned out really beautiful. I actually painted my bedroom in that color....very relaxing at the end of the day....
Wow! I just admire your creativity. I love how you can pretty much just make anything (instead of buying it)! Can't wait to see what the next project will be.
Gorgeous shabby chic design, as always, Christine! I see a necklace on your new display that is just like the beauty I ordered from you. (Even prettier in person!). Love how all your projects work together in your home! Always thrilled when I see a new video of yours posted, I would even watch a car rust if it was by you! God bless you and Michael...
Your videos are so informative! You include everything needed, step by step, so that even a person that isn't familiar with doing DIY projects feels confident enough to do it! I also have limited dexterity in my hands due to RA and seeing you complete the project from beginning to end helps me know whether or not it is a project I can do. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us!
Love it I pick up a large frame with no glass for free wasn't sure what to do with it now I do thanks to your Diy, love your Diy project Thanks for Sharing.
Amazing. Love how you used several different techniques (all fantastic on their own) combining them into an original, luxe and gorgeous creation. Big Hugs
You did it again. I love this project. I am redoing my walk in closet, art room and garage. I will use this application somewhere. You are so clever! Do you think of these ideas yourself? Thank you for taking the time to video. I know it is very time consuming.
Just saw this video, and really enjoyed it. Loved all the details you went over. I will be watching more and maybe even trying some of them. Right now I am working on making a thrift store picture frame chalk board.
I've watched many of your videos, you have such great ideas and your projects always look so elegant. Using the peg board was a brilliant idea...this is just the thing I've been searching for to make for my daughter's room..she's going to love it! Thank you, Christine, for this, it's perfect!!
Absolutely Beautiful, you make everything look so easy to do. I love the color. Thank you. I must catch up with your videos, I've enjoyed everyone I've seen.
OMG Christine you have inspired me first so many project not just me actually my daughter to I love it this just gives me more spirit and courage and that I can do it
OMG...I am so excited you did this tutorial! You have great timing, too! Just this weekend I went to several yard sales & Goodwill and picked up some old frames to transform! Now I don't have to guess how to do it!
that just tells you use little imagination and effort you can turn rock to diamond!! Thanks, do more like this we love to see what other creative ideas you've got for inspiration!
I am in love of all your projects. I enjoy to see how you change old things into new and beautiful decorations. Thank you for share this wonderful ideas with us :)
I think that's the coolest thing! It looks really fun to make and its so great you repurposed that old frame for it. It's a lot of work but really creative. Im inspired now to find ways of doing something similar to old things we have haha. Great work.
Meticulously executed, as always, Christine! My Michael & I went to a "Spring Fair" and I snapped a photo of a note board done by stapling chicken wire to the back of a frame painted just in your color and then the wire was backed by a beautiful piece of lace...super easy, I think. They used mini clothespins to tack up notes. I think you'd have liked it! xoj
Love this..gorgeous, feminine and an original piece. I'd coupon the heck out of some of those supplies and thrift a frame. I'll be making this one. Thanks for the idea.
This video was amazing! You do a great job of describing what you’re doing and showing great camera angles so we can see how you’re doing it. Also it turned out super cute and chic!
I thought the same thing! Such a soft, relaxing color. I live in a river beach town, now, and have been slowly building the living room in those types of colors 😊... doing it on a small budget, though.
You are amazing! I fell in love with your channel this past week, and my husband and I successfully created our own tufted headboard, all thanks to your amazing tutorial! You rock!!!
if u guys look at her channel u will see she does this stuff for fun and has her supplies already she can create what she wants how she wants just because you cant make things like this dont mean right nasty comments but i be you watched the video smh ........... i love this video
Looks beautiful..that frame was a great find, it's gorgeous! I just wanted to comment on the gold highlighting. I do that to many things I've made or redone - nothing looks better or helps to 'antique" something like a touch of gold! I don't know if you've ever used this, but I think you'd find it easier to use than gold spray paint when highlighting, a gold rub and buff ( not sure if that's it's real name, but that's what I call it) I get it in the paint section of the craft store. It comes in a smallish, round container (similar to a compact but deeper) and you just take a clean rag, scoop out a small amount, then gently rub across the raised areas you want to highlight. There are many more colors than just gold, but that's the only one I've used. It's so easy and mess-free.
I just found your channel and you're amazing. I've watched every video so far and can't believe how easy some of them are you just need a vision of what you're making.
