Thanks for sharing. I just got through building mine. I don't quite have the open space and have the neighbors trees at the edge of my property. So I put wheels on mine. Summertime no problem, Sun overhead. In the fall I have to move my array into a different spot, so it rolls pretty easy on dry ground. Next adding an actuator for tracking.
You could put a single 12V battery with its own panel/mppt controller and its sole purpose is to turn a threaded rod to change the angles. Start off with just manual adjustment with a DTDS toggle switch. Then later on make it a little smarter with an arduino and some light sensors. For stabilization just use vehicle hood mount shock absorbers, cheaply acquired from a salvage yard.
