Nice work Willy! I think using a software to do a vector scan (every color basically becomes a shape), then doing a vinyl cut stencil would be easiest & look more original. Cut your metal out, spray it red (the most prevalent color), let dry & apply vinyl, peel out yellow & paint (you might need to spray white then yellow to get the color you want), let dry then peel out black, cover the yellow with painters tape. Let the black dry & peel all of the vinyl off. I have not done this, but I believe the 2nd option would be to use vinyl to make a silk screen for each color if your doing any kind of small production run.

Great ideas. Someone did high quality litho wraps(vinyl?) for 6" Marx cars years back. Vanished before they caught on unfortunately. Print files were free for a few years after here & there, but I haven't noticed them in search results for about 5 years now. (maybe the Internet Archives/Wayback Machine?) .... back to watching 😉
