Hello, would it be feasible to install a diode on the positive pole of the battery so that when using power supply, it does not damage the battery?

Hey, does it drain the battery too much or the battery cuts off before it drops too low voltage? I want to do a similar project, but Makita batteries stop charging after getting bellow a certain voltage 3 or 4 times, and i don't want to risk a expensive battery.

Sorry for my bad English. I'm not using original makita battery so my battery will cuts off if it drops too low. If you use real Makita battery, you should alway check the voltage by adding a voltmeter

@@diyvn1093 I don't know If im wrong but most brands have batteries which have the bms built into the battery so it will cut off before getting too low. Ok you mid say why to Makita Tools have three Pins the third pin ist tempraturesensor. Batterys from Other Brands will Work too.
