Good job. I have ordered similar parts except with the small seconds hand at 6 o'clock, a pilots watch dial and hands with lume, a rose Gold case, and black leather strap. I bought all my parts directly from China with Aliexpress. That costs about 50% less than from eBay and lets be real. All the parts on eBay were manufactured in China. Ordering from Aliexpress just cuts out a middle man.

Got the ST36 to practice on. Need to get a dial for it.

e-bay has gazzilions of them, and some custom watch making websites, the main problem was to put the personal label, first time I went to use print and water slide, kind of rednecking, second find dial with optional laser etched custom logo, much better but, print on the bottom of the dial was white but laser etched shows logo in gold metal, nobody in my surroundings see this, but my brain went crazy about this dis-balance, and a choice of laser etched dials much narrower and no white dials found (because of laser reflections, I guess)

How did you shorten the stem? Just measure the excess between the knob and the watch case, then cut it off. Please tell me. I'm going to do the same as you !

Measure and cut with flush cutters slightly longer than needed. File the excess later to desired length. Don't forget to clean the stem with rotico. Also helps to put some loctite to glue the crown.

I think it would run you around 70 / 80 Bucks to make it yourself.

Very interesting! How did you shorten the stem? Just by using the file?
@oleggritskov894
