Check out my new video about a power distribution solution for this synth. I can now power it all with one 12 volt hard drive cable. Video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZgY1fRs9k6s.html

I really want a Behringer model D and arturia keystep pro…… I’d settle for a used beatstep pro and the Moog iOS app with usb camera adapter. I had original beatstep and absolutely loved it 😍 it definitely had its limitations of just 16 steps but those limitations and drive creativity. I ended up trading it and various other music devices and some cash for a Roland vdrum module. It was 100% worth it to me, I def like to get a used beatstep pro and synth to have fun and make joyful noise!!!

@mattryan6886

@@jessesenko I’m a drummer but I have fallen in love with synths and the hardware. I would really like to learn some basic keyboard enough so I can lay some funky bass lines down on the monophonic Mini Moog clone, then put rhythm and bounce to it. Since I really can’t play I have a bunch of midi chord progressions and out those in, alter them and draw in my basic note and cord knowledge till I find something that works. Or I bust out my sampler and sample chop up bass lines or melodies I need. I really prefer working with my guitarist who has more knowledge and depth than myself and team work makes the dream work. RU-vid suggested your channel so I checked it out and immediately liked your gear choices so I subscribed. Have great night!!!

You'll never run out of filters and effects to fit in that little space In fact, you might as well begin making a two-row case to fill with eurorack modules.

@synthsaint 2 года назад
Man, you put a lot of work into that video... sorry to see that RU-vid isn't push this, like it should. It's probably just the volume of videos, because I've heard you need like a hundred videos before YT really starts to kick-in, and push stuff, but who knows. I was expecting an actual synth construction, admittedly, and not just a box for existing hardware... LoL Keep-it-up, though, dude!

@riseofthemachine2623
@riseofthemachine2623 2 года назад
Great design. Forgive me if this has been asked before, but did it occur to you to use Eurorack rails for mounting? You could fill in the empty space with a couple of bitchen modules such as a sequencer or delay along with a power supply. I use the Behringer Pro-1 in that fashion, as they - like the Behringer D - are designed to come out of the skiff cases they are shipped in.

oh yeh, I meant to mention that in my comment... I was intrigued as to how you did that. Was it a crop and keyframe rotation? I was thinking how well done it was, but, something was off, like it was 98% perfect but I couldn't work out what the 2% was. So, my lazy brain said to myself just speed ramp the shots a tad and no-one would notice that 2% negative. But, I no nothing lol. Oh and the Autocad (whatever sorftware that was) timelapse was so good to watch, I rewound it twice 👌
@jessesenko
@jessesenko 3 года назад
@@martybeyer Yes! I shot it 4k (i only upload 1080) and in After Effects put my anchor point on the centre of the dial and another reference dot on the dial's dot and then started keyframing the rotation... but when you do anything by eye, it always wobbles a bit. That's that 2% you're talking about and it bugs me! Wasn't enough info in the shot for the AE tracker to grab onto...
