I don't know much about electricity outside of some simple circuits, so watch me attempt to do some cord cleanup on my Behringer model-d, Keeley Caverns reverb pedal, and my keystep. Using a 12 volt power cable from an old external hard drive and a voltage converter, I can now power everything off of one circuit. It worked!

Brilliant idea consolidating into one power adapter! Every time I plug in another wall wart adapter, I keep wondering if I will have a situation like the Christmas lights scene from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

Somebody’s getting a multimeter for christmas :) thanks Sam! I just started playing around with DC power over the years putting new ends on old power adapters and it snowballed from there!

Cool video and cool idea I like to go unplugged and free too. I just produced a diy wood case with amplifier / battery/ charger / speaker, will post a video about it soon. I used same exact buck circuit from Aliexpress The video will not be well edited like yours Good job

While purchasing my recent analog video stuff I learned about the whole center negative thing. Such an annoyance. I don't know how many different adapters I have now. May just need to buy a good power supply eventually.

I bought a variable power supply (that white benchtop one in the vid) and also built a little polarity inverter dongle that flips the positive and negative for those weird things like that effects pedal.

Weird flex at the end, showing everyone how tall you actually are by doing an top down, zoom out. I figured that you would at least have your toes in frame by the end of the shot...guess you were still leaning forward a little.
