Try wood conditioner before applying stain! Especially for woods like pine. The wood is really 'thirsty' so if it soaks up the wood conditioner first, the stain goes on a lot more evenly, since the wood isn't so desperately trying to soak it all in as fast as possible.

Oh wow, bed skirt....Havent seen them for years! We called them Valances back in the 90s and then everyone got rid of them. Its so wierd how everything comes back, the picture frames, candle sticks and lamp shades. Its really hard to go back when u are old enough to have already done it before. Room looks beautiful tho, i love the chest of drawers redo😍

Chocolate mousse color wall. Love it. I need to make a room into a child room for my baby before I get pregnant again. I think I'll paint one wall in a soft reddish light brown. And maybe one in lilac 🤔 I hope I'll have your engery and inspo
