In regard to your dishwasher, check on Lone Fox’s DIY panel dishwasher. He used a sheet of copper and it is STUNNING!!! It has patina’d beautifully and I think you would like it!!

We used them when we remodeled two bathrooms. The cabinets were easy to install and really beautiful! I loved being able to get exactly what I wanted.

The feeling of accomplishment when YOU do the work to your home is a feeling like none other! As for the white box look, I always say it's a blank canvas for me to create a masterpiece. Which is precisely what you are doing. You need to sign your artwork when it's finished🖼️🎨🖌️

Love the ogee edge but be careful it can chip if hit just right. I have it in my kitchen and over the years I have noticed small chips. Beautiful space, it's so nice to get a kitchen done!

I'm so glad you could get timber - my dad made the kitchen of our place (used to be my parents') in the 1950's and because it's timber it's still going. Lone fox bought uncoated copper in a roll and covered his dishwasher. There were other metal options too. He just did a 'revisit' of his house projects recently, and its weathering amazingly.

I owned a cabinet and counter top company for 20yrs. Y’all did a wonderful job putting the cabinets together. We did everything in the shop it was all custom. We also built Garrett scanners you see at the airport. Your kitchen is going to be Beautiful. Love the countertops.

I’m having Deja vu. We did a kitchen remodel ourselves during the pandemic. We too used RTA wood cabinets. 3 years later and I still adore them. They are also the designer white. I have marble tops and tongue and groove backslash. I had the same panic moment as you thinking it was a “white box”, but once we brought in brass finishes, copper accents, gold frames, wood pieces and florals, it looks and feels amazing! You will do a great job warming it up with your great taste! I’m so happy for you!!

we use these type of cabinets in our rentals and but you need to stay on top of them and keep them cleaned . our own kitchen has painted white over wood cabinets. I wish they would've never done that but I admire you guys we're going without the kitchen for sale. You guys are troopers.

Jameson is such a great helper! He has gotten so big and is totally adorable. You guys are doing a fantastic job on your kitchen...I am in love with your dimmer switches, now we need to switch ours out, they are new, but so UGLY... YOUR TOPS ARE BEAUTIFUL...SUCH A FANCY EDGE! Your sink is lovely as well, I am wanting an unlacquered brass faucet. I bought a fancy chrome French looking faucet from Kingston Brass, very nice fittings and very solid, same with the bathroom faucet, only used 2 years and the handles, keep falling off of both faucets. I should have shopped Etsy, lol

You know, you were talking about covering your dishwasher but there wasn't enough space? What you can do is a couple of things. There is a certain paint that people paint their refrigerators and things with. It might be the same paint and the same way like they paint cars, I'm not sure. Another way is to do what Lone Fox did here on RU-vid. He got this super skinny piece of metal, I believe his was brass or something and actually did it himself if you want to look on his website. It turned out beautiful. Your kitchen is turning out just so pretty. You've been patient. :)))

Hi Krysta. This is a great informative video and everything looks beautiful. I’m gonna look into these cabinets because I’m going to do a master bath remodel. With your damage cabinets, did you have to package up and take the damage cabinets to the post office or UPS to return? Thanks so much.
