Dizzy Gillespie @ East Berlin - PdR - One World Concert - 1990-05-09 - Part 3 

Few mounths after the Wall fall Dizzy played a wonderful concert at the "Palast der Republik" in East Berlin with a wonderful Quintet: Dizzy Gillespie - tp, Ron Holloway - ts, Ed Cherry - g, John Lee - elb, Ignazio Perroa - dr, Giovanni Hidalgo - perc - special guest: Paquito D'Rivera. Few hours before the concert starts, Dizzy jump on the Berlin Wall and have a little party there with many of people from the East. Till this Day, this concert is one of my favorite, also his recording from Havanna 1985 and his recording "Bahia" from 1976. Dizzy words on this night: "You can´t loose with the Blues".
