I'm a Filipino American living in Los Angeles; however, I love Korean music! I wish I could understand it. But I love the melodies!! Very talented Korean artists!
@@venc5867 Hi! I was introduced to K-Pop around 2001, when I first heard "Because I'm a Girl" by K.I.S.S. (Korean International Super Star). I recently bought a Learn Hangul book so I can understand lyrics.
Hi Michael i was brought up in LA :) It would be awesome if you learn the language so that you can sing along! So many Filipinos i’ve met are musically talented btw
@@itsbomee Hi 보미! I've actually been learning Hangul since posting my comment on this video. I'm still a beginner but can now write and also type Hangul from my keyboard. It is so fascinating and fun at the same time. I grew up in Cerritos and was surrounded by a lot of Korean culture, but never really got immersed into it until now. Someday I will be fluent in Hangul!! I take online lessons every day. (I hope I spelled your name correctly in Korean!)
