Hopefully but as we’ve seen very recently, overweight players bordering on obesity are not long for the pro’s and for him to get his conditioning up and slim down, he can certainly do so but it’ll take a long time before he becomes a viable rotation option. Kids got talent, just needs to get in shape and I hope he starts sooner rather than later because I’d love to see him in the league. Reminds me a lot of Kenny Lofton: strong, talented and possesses finesse but even he’s not a viable option in today’s league.

As an NC State alumnus who is loving this run… no. No, he will not be a top five pick. He literally made his first career three during the ACC tournament. Shooting is too crucial in today’s NBA.

Yeah, that’s a given. I’m just pointing to the biggest weakness in his game. Even among bigs, he’s not necessarily a top five pick. But I want to see the best for him after this year, and wish he had come to State sooner.
