Dope as always, Ricky! As for the QSCs HRPs were made from 2003-2010 and were replaced by the KW series. As far is the Electric goes. I am an electrician by trade. P usally represents panel, and next digit represents which specific panel. If there's in digit than a number, (such as R-1, R-2) that means there's more 26 panel usally. So in that case, R-1 is one panel, R-2 is the one next to it. And than the #8 represents breaker 8. So P#R-3#13 means Panel R-3 break number 13. Hope this helps
Hey Rick, been watching your videos since the early days of 2015 and have been part of your entire journey. Still remember the video, you were sitting by the poolside and talking about how weddings work in your area. How to partner up with an existing DJ or a catering company/event company to get started. You yourself started that way. Exceptionally proud to see where you came from and where you reached. God bless you with more. Would be very interested in coaching.
the Dj in training was looking at you all shook with the introductions part and i understand why, you most likely have a high standard as you have been at this for years so practicing makes perfect and sadly even people working for us would want to do something their way, now that's understandable but not in context of our work, plus why make things complicated for you by esientially "Throwing shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks" so yeah hope the trainee's say okay cool i'll do what the boss says and enjoy the rest i mean that to me sounds better then freeballing.
I’ve been following you since I first started DJing. I love the idea of coaching for DJing and business aspect as well. I’m definitely interested! I’m already in a group with Evolve DJ’s with DJ Ragooza. I think I spelled his name right lol but his group is awesome as well, learned a lot so far but I would definitely love more coaching on the business aspect as well as DJing itself!
Been following for a long time definitely my favorite DJ. I dj in New Orleans La which is a major market. I've been djing 17 years and I'd love if you expanded here demand is really high.

HPR’s is pre-K series and were actually very good boxes for the time. They used RMX amp technology, solid build, and Celestion drivers. They came out around 2005 or 2006 I believe and were eventually replaced by the KW series. They were very heavy though, that HPR122 weighs 60lbs.
Yes but the yorkville elite subs and tops put Qsc to shame I owned them cheap china amps inside yorkville amps built in house speakers are from Italy b&c drivers
depends how the maintenance people at the location labeled it but I would assume PR#1 (Power room 1/Panel room 1) and the other numbers #8 #10 the breakers.... they probably have multiple rooms for breakers... just an idea
I’ve been following you since you first started in Ohio and I would love to basically learn how to build up the DJ business from the ground up. Funding, marketing, getting leads and all. I’d definitely sign up for classes or a membership.
Normally its cus they have to get totems too. And totems plus movers is a lot to transport and pretty expensive in comparison to the uplights. And its harder to sell to people
Hey DJ Rick Web, I am very interested in learning how I can finance my business and start it up, how to pay stuff off, and how to invest as you mentioned. Where do I sign up!!?
All you need to do is start off slow financially buy a little at a time but spend wisely don’t go cheap then move up that’s what cost time and money. Speakers and lights are priority 1 then your controller and cases for lights .
How do you keep from losing your Midi settings if you change USB ports on your laptop? I have ShowXpress and an AKAI APCmini but if I have every button set up and plug into a different USB port it looses all of the setup even though the Midi addresses still show in the ShowXpress software. It won't even pick it up if I plug back into the same USB port so I have to set it all up again from scratch. It is very annoying!
For the people who use Rekordbox, how can we DMX to both lighting s4s and adj mega hex pars. Rekordbox lighting sucks and sound switch isn’t compatible. Open to anything
AJD WMX1 for the Americas (Wolfmix W1 for EU, same device just different branding). It's a standalone unit and just amazing feature-wise. I'm ditching Soundswitch for it.
Hey Rick. Great job on all the vids. Been watching you for quite some time and appreciate all the effort you put in making these. I have a question. The LD Maui you put in the back room, why do you put a delay on it, wouldn’t it feel and sound out of sync if you were sitting back there and watching the speeches going on?
Rik, how do you calculate the delay for speakers? And also say for a corner loading sub scenario where the tops are a bit distant from the subs in corner, how would you calculate delay on the tops?
I thought that the female receiver on the bottom of the tubes was an M5 not 1/4"? I just got my pixel tubes and the eye hooks have M6 printed on them. I'm really confused!! I want to mount two on mic stands as well. @@DJRickWeb
@@DJRickWeb thanks! I ended up buying the adapters for my two mic stands and they worked great! Used my 4 Tubes at my last Christmas party and got RAVE reviews! They looked so good!
People dont like bright dancefloors. DJs think there needs to be lights lighting up the dance floor and that is not what human sociology studies will say. People that want to let loose and dance do not want to be in a spotlight
