Straight up in the mix. No fucking about. No spending half hour cueing up a track. No obligatory twisting of every knob of the mixing post drop. Experience is everything. Ace
From the old world, the world of Garnier and Papa Sven...when the music itself told the story. No gimmicks or magic buttons...one of my favourite Boiler Rooms from one of my heroes.
1.)Pachanga Boys - Poem For The Youth 2.)Paperclip People - Oscillator Sebastien San Remix 3.)Traffic Signs - VCM Nation 4.)MAJOR PROBLEMS - OVERDOSE 5.)Moloko - Time Is Now (Solomun edit) GUYS! START USE "Shazam" on your androids. About IOS don't know )))
"DJ Hell , no I mean it DJ Hell" , "Thank you for coming down all the way from Munich tonight" quote from compare. "I came from Tokyo" quote DJ Hell. I will add that the set was great :).
dude : "dj hell .. what should i say .. thank you for coming from munich" .. DJ: " i came from tokio" lol typically cakehatwaeringpartywannabehipster ^^ make your homeworkdude
It's the same where I live man, people just want to listen to whatever is popular on the charts. All of the night clubs in my city are the same. It's a crying shame. This man DJ Hell is a prophet.
That's Carl Craig (Paperclip people) the track is called Oscillator but Int.DJ Gigolo (Sebastian San) made a remix in 2012. The original album is called "The secret Tapes of Dr Eich" that one of my best LP it is just a masterpiece..you can play it at anytime people get just crazzy...:-)
Meine Jugend!
He kinda falls down the stairs for the last second... but that's the beauty of vinyl mixing... its like a "look mum no hands" moment. I miss vinyl mixing. it Was an actual skill.
Oisin Doyle You should try to be a bit more open-minded and listen to more music than just Ritchie Hawtin. This DJ was playing music long before we where born.
+Getrommel the first part is relevant: DJ Hell was already a prominent, influential DJ in the 90s. he's even fucking mentioned on the track "Teachers" by Daft Punk
09 Sante - Protection 10 Matthew Dekay & Lee Burridge - Lost in a Moment (Dixon Rework) 11 &Me - Everless 12 Tim Deluxe - Transformation (Dj Hell Remix) 13 Alex Bau - Noise A (Alan Fitzpatrick remix) 14 Jamie Jones - Frequencies 15 D2 Feat Dan Diamond - Therapy (Peace Division Unauthorized Remix)
Cool tracks but so dawn bad mixing. I love Dj Hell, have all his vinyls.. But he lost it all as a Dj. He was better on Coke then on Alcohol. Sad as fuck for him :)
One guy says that Hell could be Hitler, the other guy says that Hell could be his father, but since Hitler shot his children what they say doesn't make any sense. It's is actually just to make a comment on a discussion on something as stupid as the dj's looks instead of the music his playing ;)
I agree with you. I am german and you can tell, that his english is not the best. I think he has a lack of vocab. A bit background information would be nice, but the only thing he always says is like: WHAT SHALL I SAY...IT'S DJ RANDOM!
I personally think Dj hell 2001-2003 was probably one of most entertaining djs hands down at that time, every session will make you move you wanted or not...
whats the track at the end 59.00 on wards about the fire coming out the walls fuck all that shit drinking fancy fuckin champaine . . awsome tune ! no idea what that is but id like it . can someone tell me please .
Another great track for id is the one he takes out after it skips a few times? was just getting into that one aswell...;) anyone know what its called? please. around 38/40 min mark....
i think because any dj's has some problem with system of sound there?and boiler room Amsterdam too!! more or less litle problem. "awsome !dj. hell *i love this guy :-D
The Germans are with the best and now this days the French as well, Etienne de Crécy, Laurent Granier, Alex Gopher, Sebastien Leger, Popof, Joachim Garraud etc...
thanks for uploading, it's a really cool set. does anyone know what the tune that comes in roughly 30 min in, with the big deep tech chord riff running through it the whole way, i'd love to know, hopefully someone can help :) :)
Hin und Her Wippen.
